Beach Volleyball in WA
Interested in playing one of the World's most popular sports? With the state's amazing beaches, it would be a shame not to be interested in playing beach volleyball. Featuring some of WA's most gorgeous beaches, VWA events over the summer emphasise healthy competition, fitness and an incredible setting.
The beach volleyball season begins right after the end of the indoor volleyball season, typically beginning in early November and ending in mid-March each year. During this period, the majority of VWA's programs will be designed to cater to beach volleyball players.
VWA's typical summer calendar consists of the competitive 'Alcohol.Think Again WA Beach Volleyball Tour', the more casual Social Beach Competition, and a variety of training programs designed to prepare you for both. VWA also runs beach volleyball sessions for juniors during Terms 1 and 4 each year.
Volleyball WA's beach volleyball facility at Royal Park in West Perth (corner Charles St and Vincent St) is available for day time and night time hire (when available). With four beach volleyball courts just outside the heart of the city, clubs, schools and teams are welcome to hire the courts to use: either to train or play.
