But Sheryl Crow managed to make herself look leggy as she headed to a meeting at the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show on Wednesday.

The All I Wanna Do singer, 51, wore a pair of very tight fitting black trousers featuring leather trim as she made her way to the studios in New York City.

She teamed the attire with a cream embroidered top and shielded her eyes with black Ray Ban sunglasses.

Sheryl also strutted around a pair of multi-coloured high heels which elongated her slender legs even further.

The Grammy Award winning artist also had her blonde locks out in a straight style and had minimal make-up on her complexion.

And it appears that Sheryl had a quick change during the day as she was also spotted wearing an orange blouse under a white blazer featuring an intricate black design with the same trousers.

Sheryl recently made headlines after allegations were made that she knew about her former fiance' Lance Armstrong's performance enhancing drug use which saw him stripped of all his Tour de France titles.

Betsy Andreu, the whistleblower at the heart of exposing the cyclist's doping, said at the time it would be 'sick and unconscionable’ if the singer had failed to act.

Speaking to MailOnline at the time of the height of the scandal she said: ‘Are you kidding me? She was his fiancé. She surely knew what was going on. She could have helped other people.’

Sheryl addressed Armstrong's scandal in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, but did not comment on whether she knew about the doping during her relationship.

Of Armstrong’s public confessions, she said: ‘It’s got to be real hard walking around knowing you’re not telling the truth about something.

‘I always contend that the truth is the best way to go. The truth will set you free.’
