I purchased the Nook HD+ for my wife for Christmas, they claim that these are a tablet but I really do not see it that way.
If not for my wife I would have returned this the day after Christmas, the android system they are using is so out dated and locked you cannot do anything with this thing unless you purchase from B&N; really lame.
I am still trying to talk her into a full blown tablet like the iPad or Nexus the Nook HD+ was $299 plus another $35.00 for the cover witch has a big U on the back, so you pay them $35 buck to advertise there product.
She has spent another $150-$200 on apps and books so that totals $534.00 dollars and she has only had it 2 days.
The iPad with Retina display $499.00 that is totally loaded with apps and books not to menschen all the free stuff you can get.
My opinion do not waist your money my wife thinks it grows on trees and who am I to tell her different anyway I do not have the courage to do so.
Thanks for letting me post.
