Career Programs Offers Vital Services

Over the years the Alumni Association’s Career Programs department has assisted thousands of grads with their career transition. Whether it is a military to civilian transition, or career and /or job transitions within the civilian sector, our career programs have been the vital component in countless successful job searches.

Career Programs provides a variety of ways for alumni members to take advantage of their service academy affinity, one of the most powerful assets alumni have. Career Programs offers every alum the opportunity to showcase themselves while reaching out to fellow alumni for advice and assistance.

The programs are listed below.

SACC - Service Academy Career Conference - the only job fair exclusive to service academy alumni - held quarterly around the country in Savannah, GA; Washington, DC; San Diego, CA; and San Antonio, TX.

iSABRDInternet Service Academy Business Resource Directory - (You must be logged into the usna.com website in order to access your profile in iSABRD) - business and networking resource tool for more than 48,400 service academy alumni. iSABRD is a career service provided jointly by the alumni associations of the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Foundation, and the associations of graduates of the U.S. Military Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy. All alumni are encouraged to complete their iSABRD profiles.

JSAJE - Joint Service Academy Jobs Electronically - resume database and job posting service. Alumni can search for jobs and/or sign up for the JSAJE Job Retriever to be alerted about jobs meeting a specific search criteria. Employers can advertise career opportunities directly to service academy alumni for $100 for 60 days.

Other Career Resources

Career Counseling - Available by appointment. This career counseling service is provided to alumni seeking a career change, as well as military officers making career transitions after their military obligation.
