Holly Madison reveals how she lost her 30lbs baby weight in just SIX WEEKS... wearing corsets and eating 1100 calories a day

As she strides along in a flirty mini dress, it seems impossible that it has been just six short weeks since Holly Madison gave birth to her baby daughter.

And now the former reality star has revealed the intricacies of the regime that have seen her lose 30lbs of the 40lbs she put on while pregnant.

The 33-year-old former Playboy pinup has stuck to 1100 calories a day, wore a corset round the clock and hit the gym.

Who cares if I still need to lose 10lbs. I've been really halthy and don the best I could,' she told Life & Style.

'I'm really proud of how I look right now'.

Even before giving birth to her daughter Rainbow Aurora in March, Holly  was working hard to stay focused on her health.

'Not that I didn't have cheat days or stop for Taco Bell driving home from the doctor,' she admitted.

'But I used to eat poorly, and I started paying attention because my baby's health was now dependent on it.'

During those nine months, she turned to books like Kimberly Snyder's Beauty Detox Foods, which inspired her to add nutrient-dense fruit and vegetable smoothies to her daily diet.

She also religiously worked out to pregnancy DVDs such as 10 Minute Solutions Prenatal Pilates.

Such rigorous preparation is largely to thank for Holly's quick return to a size 2, as well as another figure trick.

The former Peepshow star ordered waist cinchers from Frederick's of Hollywood and Trashy Lingerie to help her gain back her slim waistline.

But when she first tried them on, she was 'horrified to see that [she] couldn't even fit into a corset that was completely unlaced.'

'My belly was still as large as it was when I was six months pregnant!' she said.

Now that she's 10lbs away from her goal weight of 110lbs, she's started to wear the corsets every day.

Though the buff beauty wanted to get right back to working out to trim her waist after giving birth, she waited the six weeks that doctors recommended before beginning.

Instead, she relied heavily on a meal delivery system called eDiets.

Portion controlled meals arrive to her door, allowing her 1,000 - 1,100 calories of mini meals each day.

A typical day starts with a 150-calorie French toast breakfast topped with berry compote, carries into a small portion of pasta with vegetables that clocks in at 310 calories for lunch, and finishes with a dinner of grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables for 400 calories.

Though she's eating carb-filled foods, the tiny, palm-sized portions ensure a lower calorie count and therefore weight loss.

She supplements the diet with 500 calories of fruits and vegetables, as the extra caloric allotment is recommended for breastfeeding mothers.

Sometimes she splurges, however.

'I'll get a dessert sometimes, but just have a couple of bites,' she said.

Now that the six weeks have passed, though, she hops on her treadmill a few times a week and does twice-daily crunch routines.

'I hope to lose the rest of the weight in another month,' she revealed.

Up next for the blonde bombshell is an August wedding to fiance Pasquale Rotella, with whom she had daughter Rainbow.

The stunner wants 'at least three' kids with her promoter fiance.

'He loved my pregnant belly, so he wishes I was pregnant again,' she said.

'He doesn't care if I lose the weight. It was just a goal I set for myself.'

Very judgemental comments on here. She is eating carb filled food and if you read the article properly she also says she's eating an extra 500 calories (in veg etc) on top of that as she is feeding. She's not living off salad or diet shakes! What she is eating is perfectly healthy and definitely suitable for breast feeding. She doesn't look really skinny to me, she looks a lovely size. Lets face it, if we all had the money to have food delivered to our door like that and access to gym equipment at home with staff available to watch the baby, we would all do the same!

Uno, nice advertisments. Due, there could be some misinformation either about breastfeeding, or the food she's eating . That of course, is a a speculation. You don't eat palm-sized portions when you breastfeed, and besides enough calories, it's important to diversify the menu. Maybe she's not breastfeeding, I don't know. Different opinions, different bodies, different priorities. I am pretty tired thought of "celebs" talking about their diets - in general or after pregnancy, or during pregnancy, they can say all they want, sometimes they get paid to endorse diets etc. The truth is, and I know this will sound a bit condescending (it is not my intention to be condescending) - there is a proper way to eat when you are pregnant, and a proper way to lose weight after pregnancy. And time is big issue as well. But come on, each with their own.

What a pretty woman.

I'd be far more concerned about the quality of my breastmilk than my figure!

Indeed she does look great, but 1100 calories a day is too little for a new mom! Especially if she is breastfeeding.

If women think that just because a famous lady goes on a magazine and says she lost weight fast after pregnancy, puts pressure on them, then they should get a serious life. In fact they need to take several seats because you need to be confident in yourself to realise that you don't have to be or do what everyone else is doing. Jeez!! In fact it encourages me to know that when I do become pregnant I don't have to eat excessive amounts and gain tonnes of weight. If you are sensible and eat healthily for you and your baby during pregnancy, I don't see why you would put on so much weight. The myth about eating for 2 is what is putting pressure on women because once the baby is born, you start thinking about how to lose the extra poundage. You are too tired from having to look after the baby to even consider losing weight and this causes you to feel terrible and wonder why everyone else does it.

1100 calories/day is nowhere near enough if you are breastfeeding!!

Fair play but i do wish the media would stop putting pressure on women to be perfect. Are there not more important things to worry about in the 6 weeks after giving birth? At 30 weeks pregnant myself, i really am starting to feel paranoid that i should be bikini ready in less than 2 months after the baby.

Judging by some of the articles written by DM and some of the comments on here, no wonder she's trying to get back in shape soon as possible. People say "why bother" "it's too soon" "women shouldn't feel pressured" etc. but as soon as a celeb doesn't look their best the DM and some people on here make nasty comments "she's to fat" "she looks out of shape" "has she even bothered to look in the mirror" "look at her cellulite". The pressure on people like her to look good at all times is what drives most celebrity mums to extreme ways to get back in shape right away.
