Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, 40, gives birth to her second son after emergency C-section

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is celebrating the birth of her second baby with husband Apollo Nida today - albeit a few weeks earlier than planned.
The lawyer turned workout video entrepreneur announced she was expecting over the New Year and gave birth on Wednesday morning by C-section.
She and Nida are already parents to Ayden, two.
Phaedra Parks gave birth on Wednesday to her second son with husband Apollo, right. The Housewives star shared this photo on Instagram Tuesday night of Pastor Gregory Pollard, left, with his hand on her ready-to-pop belly with the caption, 'Early baby blessing'
According to TooFab, Parks was on her way to work Wednesday morning when she started experiencing severe stomach pains.
She rushed to the hospital and they ended up having an emergency C-section weeks before her planned May 25th due date.
Despite the scary, sudden arrival, everything worked out and 'mom and baby are doing great,' a source told Us Weekly.
No word yet on if the new addition has as unique a name as his parents or a more classic moniker like that of his older brother.
Parks gave birth just hours after she shared a photo of friend and pastor Gregory Pollard with his hand on her ready-to-pop belly Tuesday night accompanied by the caption, 'Early baby blessing'.
Not one to let pregnancy get in the way of style, Phaedra had her hair and makeup perfectly done, a fur jacket and statement jewelry on.
Baby joy! Phaedra announced she was expecting her second child with her husband by flaunting her growing pregnancy bump while on holiday in the Bahamas
The 40-year-old proudly showed off her new curves when she announced her bump on a New Year's holiday in the Bahamas with her husband.
Fearless with her new belly, the Bravo star wore a sexy sheer black bathing suit with halter top and peek-a-boo cleavage.
Phaedra was prettily made up and had her hair pulled back at the sides to cascade down her back in tight curls.
The Atlanta entertainment lawyer and her personal trainer husband have been married since 2009 and live in the city's historic Vinings area.
They welcomed their first child, son Ayden, the following year.
So cute together: Phaedra and Apollo, pictured attending Cirque du Soleil TOTEM premiere in Atlanta, Georgia, have been wed three years and are already parents to two-year-old Ayden
Phaedra and Apollo's relationship was a hot topic during the recent season of her hit Bravo show.
Her co-star Kenya Moore was filmed openly flirting with Apollo, much to his wife's annoyance.
Phaedra said: 'I thought it was very distasteful and very inappropriate, but that’s who she is. You can’t make a loose woman a lady.'
The couple have just released their first fitness DVD, Phine Body, on Amazon.
No word if the newest family addition will partake in his mother's latest venture - her own spin off.
Bring it on: Phaedra's new baby is sure to feature on on The Real Housewives of Atlanta; here the lawyer joined Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey at the Bravo Upfront in New York last year

The name Ayden is not classic. Michael, William, Robert, Christopher, those are classic names. Ayden is trendy, faddish, and obnoxious.
