She often hits headlines for her jaw dropping appearances.

But Cara Delevigne went for a different look as she headed out in New York on Monday - wearing a terrifying shark-print jumper.

The 20-year-old model appeared unconcerned by the fearsome motif on her top, grinning widely as she ran to catch a cab in the Big Apple.

Cara also went make-up free for the outing, displaying her blemish-free complexion as she stood in the twilight.

Allowing her skin to breathe by resisting the concealer and with her famously bushy eyebrows unbrushed, Cara looked every part the natural beauty.

For her start-of-the-week style, Cara opted to wear a fun novelty jumper that featured a huge great white shark on the front.

The fearsome beast is wide mouthed and ready to snap up a meal as it practically jumps off her top with it's tunnel-like mouth.

While the model may wear high-end fashion pieces for the countless magazine shoots and advertising campaigns that she poses for, she seems to be a fan of more novelty clothes for when she dresses in her spare time.

In recent weeks she has been spotted wearing a skull adorned t-shirt while at an art gallery launch, and was seen around NYC at the weekend in a symbol covered cropped jumper.

Showing her appreciation for cartoons, the Anna Karenina star uploaded a photograph of herself being 'licked' by Spongebob Squarepants while wearing a Bart Simpson covered top.

But it's not all silly fashion for Cara as she knows how to dress up smartly in her spare time as well.

In a departure from her fun fashion choices, she tweeted a picture of herself wearing a high-fashion suit earlier this week.

'All I need is my saintlaurentparis suit', she said to her 687,000 Twitter followers, attaching an Instagram snap of herself in the high fashion piece.

The British Fashion Council's Model Of The Year proved she can dress to impress equally as well as she can dress to play.

I really highly dislike this use of the word 'super' as a superlative to almost everything...'super smart' 'super happy' etc. theres something so infantile about it...

She is not ugly at all, in fact she is a super cute girl! But an elegant, amazing looking supermodel who can pull off any look? The next Kate Moss? Not even when pigs fly. - Bo, Somewhere, Netherlands, 23/04/2013 18:05 DONT EVEN PUT CARA AND SUPERMODEL IN THE SAME SENTENCE, NOT EVEN CLOSE you clearly know nothing about fashion and only like what's popular and not what's good

I don't understand why she is a top model. Even in make up, to me at least, she is nothing special. Not talking about her personality or her overall looks--just her looks as a model.
