Sir Mick Jagger admits Keith Richards' apology over penis jibes was a 'prerequisite' to Rolling Stones 50th reunion

They're making millions from their 50th anniversary tour so you'd expect the Rolling Stones didn't have to think twice about reforming for the concerts.
However, Sir Mick Jagger admitted he wasn't prepared go on the road with his bandmates until Keith Richards apologised for unflattering jibes in his autobiography.
In fact, the frontman, 69, claims it was a 'prerequisite' than Keith, also 69, say sorry for commenting on his penis size in his 2010 book Life.

Keith left Mick far from impressed in the tome, when he wrote: 'Marianne Faithfull had no fun with his tiny todger.
'I know he's got an enormous pair of balls - but it doesn't quite fill the gap.'

The guitarist also commented on Mick making it 'very difficult to be his friend' and other tough opinions on the singer's personality.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Sir Mick said: '(An apology was) a prerequisite, you might say.
'Well, I think it was a good thing he got together with me and said that. I don't really want to talk about it apart from that, but I think it's good that he said it, and yes, it was a prerequisite, really.
'You have to put those things to one side; you can't leave them unspoken.'
When asked if he liked Keith's recollection of the band's early history, Mick described them as 'accurate'.
However, when pressed for further comment, the veteran singer said he didn't 'really want to talk about Keith's book'.
While Keith conceded he had to apologise, he claims his bandmate didn't read the book properly.
He explained: 'I told Mick, "You should have seen what I left out." I did also say to Mick, "I know exactly what you did. You got the book, you went straight to the index - Jagger, M - and that's what you read. You didn't take it in context. You didn't."'
Keith said he was happy to apologise, but perhaps it wasn't quite so whole-hearted as Mick would have liked.
The guitarist added: 'I'd say anything to get the band together, you know? I'd lie to my mother.'
