Before they were famous: Kim Kardashian strikes a pose while sister Kourtney is more demure in childhood snap

She is arguably the most photographed woman in the world.

And it appears Kim Kardashian's ease in front of the camera started from an early age.

The 32-year-old is seen confidently smiling in a new childhood snap, her cheeks flushed with rouge as she stands next to her identically dressed sister Kourtney, who appears shy as she stands with her shoulders hunched.

Kim posted the picture on her blog on Thursday, with the caption: 'Repping KK'.

In the photo, both little girls wear cream sweaters with giant pink 'Ks' on the front, paired with flouncy blue skirts.

They are each seen with their dark hair tied in a ponytail with a grey ribbon, and both sport fringes, with Kourtney displaying an especially thick one.

They appear to be standing in a courtyard with a brick wall serving as their backdrop.

But the similarities end there. Kim is by far the more confident one, appearing to already be aware of her natural prettiness as she stands assertively next to her sister.

Kourtney, meanwhile, has her shoulders hunched as she clasps her hands in front of her, smiling shyly for the camera.

She also appears to be wearing less makeup than her younger sister, who is seen wearing a thick layer of blusher and a rosy lipgloss.

Pregnant Kim recently caused a bit of a stir with her questionable choice of attire at Monday night's Met Gala.

The reality star donned a floral gown that some said looked more suitable as a sofa cover.

Kim has been plagued by Internet trolls and critics of her pregnancy weight gain - she recently admitted she has trouble finding flattering clothes for her figure.

'I've gotten wider but my belly hasn't popped yet,' she blogged back in March. 'So I struggle finding things that don't make me look heavy.'

:Have the bloody Kardashians bought this paper???? Im sick to death of the daily onslaught of brainless stories printed here. Whatever happened to this newsworthy paper.............the YANKS have taken over and kids on minimum wage are writing the stories....OR SO IT WOULD SEEM!
