CHRIS TOOKEY: 21 And Over is the antithesis of family entertainment. Its antiheroes are a foul-mouthed, self-centred drop-outs of monumental stupidity.
CHRIS TOOKEY: The story unfolds on an aeroplane heading — like a country anticipating economic meltdown — for a crash landing.
CHRIS TOOKEY: Here’s a revenge thriller that’s professionally made but has no life in it at all. That’s partly down to over-leisurely, lacklustre direction by Niels Arden Oplev.
CHRIS TOOKEY: The film is almost totally lacking in plot, and, even at 81 minutes, too many moments drag.
The Look of Love has achieved the impossible, writes CHRIS TOOKEY, the biopic of Paul Raymond, Britain’s most colourful porn baron, is unerotic and dull.
Comic-strip superhero movies are not exactly noted for intelligence, wit or humour. Iron Man 3 is the welcome exception.
