Praise from Palin!

Oh my, I'm about to faint.  Just got this message from Sarah Palin.

Dear RapeFan,

I'm happy to say that I'm a fan of you!  I was delighted to see mention of my rape legacy in the great state of Alaska.  It really warms my heart to know that there are people out there who appreciate my work.

However, I want to make one thing clear.  I do not and never have supported government intervention in rape.  Not by the police, and not by doctors.  My record on this is clear.  Back when I was mayor of Wasilla, I made sure that we didn't spend one government cent on rape.  I believe that you're free to enjoy a raping, but taxpayers shouldn't be burdened by the cost of your rape kit.  I know what you're gonna say, you're gonna say, "Sarah, didn't you deny supporting that policy?"  Well, just between you and me, stretching the truth makes the delight of being pro-rape that much better.

Good luck in your fight for rape, and God Bless!

Sarah Palin

I love you too Sarah!

Just thought you’d appreciate another compilation of Sarah Palin’s troubling history of rape-supporting actions:

And of course, Palin hitched her buggy to good ol’ smiling John “my friends” McCain as her hopeful boss:

The letter you posted is free of grammatical errors and run-on sentences. There is no way Sarah Palin wrote that.

October 16, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterOh, Sarah...

Why haven’t we had an official response to the rumor that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young girl in 1990? The Republic (sic) seem to be all for rape whether it be a young girl of our country!!!

I love this site!!!!

I think those who are "pro-rape" should be as wonderfully open and frank about it as you guys.

That poopy head, Al Franken, is such a stick in the mud....no fun at all. He tirelessly defends those who have not been able to get a fair trial within our legal system. What a wimp. In my day, we walked off a plank and either sank and died or we were proven to be a witch and then were burned at a the stake...and we liked it!

Because women don't have enough trouble making their way in this world, apparently.

Don't any of these people have mothers, wives or daughters they don't hate?

Jusme--Good call! I like seeing that there are people on the left who also understand that rape is just a little thing, which is there for us to make light of. I was really worried McCain and the right-wing had a monopoly on it!

For this entire blog, I've been trying to read through and I just can't believe any of it. I can understand slightly of false rape cases being taken too far, but real legitimate rape cases? I'm sorry, but I can't see how any self respecting woman could support this cause.

Confused, it's called satire.

We Rapublicans have a long and proud history of rape. How many African American bloodlines have a little bit of slave-owner in them? Many, I must declare, and the product of good old fashioned rape? Recently, our beloved President George W Bush succeeded in raping the entire nation of Iraq. (His father tried raping Iraq on a previous attempt, but pulled out at the last minute.)

Sarah has long been against any government interference in private acts of a sexual nature that anyone decent does not mention in public, let alone a jury of people she (or he) has not even been properly introduced to.

That's one of the reasons she had no choice but to fire Alaskan Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan. She was forced to declare him a "rogue commissioner" when he planned a trip to Washington D.C. to seek funding to help combat sexual assault that she had previously vetoed.

If she had not succeed in foiling his government-funded plans of intruding into the lives of Alaskan citizens, tax-payer money would have been spent encouraging those kind of women who wear something other than plain, white underpanties to complain about subjects that just make everyone embarrassed to talk about.

I hope we can all support Sarah if she decides to run for public office, regardless of whether she actually completes her term. I just know in my heart she wants us all to return to a biblically based law system. The patriarchs of old knew the cost-savings of stoning murderers, adulterers, and heretics. Problem solved!

Great post ...

I was laughing at you satire until you decided to attack Sarah Palin. I am disgusted at the actions of the senators who did not support the amendment.
I am equally disgusted at you for your posting of a supposed facsimile of a supposed letter from Sarah Palin. You go too far.

October 20, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterUpset at you

hey "upset at you". its a shame that you are upset, but the fact still remains that SP willfuly and with malice removed funding for rape kits(in Wasilla), therefore forcing women who were raped to pay for the rape kits themselves.

@francha - it's sad that you think this site is satire. Although a sarcastic tone is used, the events documented here are real.

I'm always fascinated by people who are more upset about satire than the issue being satirized. Are people like this being willfully obtuse? For those of you who aren't sure what to be enraged about, here's a clue: BE ANGRY ABOUT SENATORS CHOOSING A CORPORATION'S RIGHT TO PROFITS OVER A RAPE SURVIVOR!

These contractor sluts need to stop causing problems.

Can unmarried woman who get gang-raped still be stoned as adulterers?

Vote Republican -- keep our contractors, er, uh, our country strong!

I applaud this site! Those who do not get satire; read "A Modest Proposal" by Swift so you CAN understand what this is, instead of complaining about it.
