She's had a busy few days after dressing to the nines for the annual Met Ball in New York earlier this week, before jetting to Atlanta to film some scenes for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

So it's no wonder Kirsten Dunst has come well accustomed to travelling.

And one thing's for sure - she's adamant she'll get to her latest destination comfortably if her super dressed down outfit is anything to go by.

The On The Road actress was spotted arriving at LAX airport on Friday morning flying straight in from work in Atlanta.

And rather than make the usual celebrity choice to ensure they're dressed to impress knowing full well they'll be photographed on arrival, Kirsten was all to happy to be spotted not at her best.

The 31-year-old happily sauntered through the airport in skinny jeans with red trainers and a baggy grey T-shirt to round off the boyish ensemble.

She wore her blonde locks down and wavy in her usual laidback style, while she covered her eyes with large sunglasses.

The star appeared in good spirits as she made her way out into the sunny Los Angeles air.

And she'll no doubt be looking forward to some rest at home after her manic few days.

She began the week by joining the rest of showbiz royalty at the biggest night in fashion at New York's Met Ball.

While she's clearly at home in comfortable outfits, she made an exception for the bash as she wowed in a cleavage exposing Louis Vuitton dress.

The plunging deep green number, which was cut to her navel, also gave a glimpse of side boob when she stood to the side.

But as soon as Monday was over with she headed to join her latest castmates including Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell in Georgia on Wednesday.

The blonde beauty was seen stripping down to nude lingerie and stockings after hopping into a harness for her scenes.

Showing off her ample cleavage in the barely there undergarments, she had been strapped into the device after balancing on a barrel.

Earlier, she was seen standing on a balcony in a cream and gold gown teamed with extravagant headpiece.

Seemingly harking back to the Roman era, she was playing a long gold trumpet.

It is unknown what role Kirsten plays in the new comedy sequel but it has so far been described as a 'cameo' part.

Until now, I always thought she was kind of plain and unimpressive. This is the first time she's ever looked attractive to me. She looks amazingly attractive in her "dressed down" look! Absolutely beautiful. Different strokes for different folks, but this is what looks hot to ME. Wow she looks great.

She looks great and comfortable for traveling. Looks like a normal person! Comfy shoes and clothes. Not a ton of make up and stupid heels. I like her!

She's ok until she opens her mouth. Her teeth are all over the place and don't seem to know what to do. She could do with a hair brush too. And a bit of sun on her face. And some meat on her bones. But yeah, other than that she's great.

finally a celebrity that doesn't feel the need to wear massive high heels and a really short skirt to the airport :)
