Jealous Chris Brown and Rihanna rage at each other in toxic Twitter exchange as they accuse each other of playing the field

The on-again off-again couple finally seem to have called it quits last week.

But Rihanna, 25, and Chris Brown, 24, have taken to Twitter to voice their mutual contempt for each other.

The music superstars sent out thinly veiled tweets on Thursday and Friday seemingly accusing the other of playing the field while they dated.

Rihanna started it off, uploading an Instagram picture on Thursday with the words:

'If I drop all my hoes for you and we still don't work out you owe me some hoes.'

Although the meaning isn't clear, the picture insinuates that Rihanna either dropped all her friends when she was with Chris or that he was unfaithful to her.

Chris then upped the nastiness factor by tweeting on Friday: 'She's not mine if she's everybody elses.'

She started it: Rihanna uploaded this picture to her Instagram account on Thursday, which perhaps alludes to Chris cheating

Flat out accusation: Chris followed up with a tweet on Friday that seemed to suggest that Rihanna may have seen other guys

The ex couple also sent out tweets on Wednesday that appeared to be directed at each other, with Chris tweeting:

'Sometimes loving someone is too much! So loving from a distance will help everyone grow! Be blessed. Live ya life!'

Rihanna then tweeted her own message a short while later, stating:

'Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain't for kidz #butimsleeptho'.

Moving on: The pair, pictured at the Grammy Awards in February, have both been linked to ex partners in recent weeks

Chris' Friday tweet comes after reports that Rihanna was partying with ex JR Smith on Tuesday after her show in New York.

But the rapper isn't blameless himself after he spent his birthday celebrations last weekend partying with ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran.

The rapper recently made some kinder comments about the break-up during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show

'I'm always going to love that person ... [but] I can’t be focused on wife-ing someone that young — I need to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be,' he said.

Matt Kemp cheated on her at least twice, Drake did likewise and even called her 'easy gyal'...Ashton blanked her - other than those Chris is the bad guy...Meek Mill wasn't pleasant about her either!! I support Rihanna like many of you but as an artist - you presume to know so much about her private life with utter blindness to her obvious faults... I commend Chris for at least confessing he cannot be faithful at this point in his life!!! Whenever she tries to force things and get dumped, her fans take to the web and slate the other person. Ashton wasn't man enough - it goes on!! You're a spectacular performer,Riri but maybe not a great gf......they all end up going out with ladies not quite in your income bracket and you keep coming back reminding us of your wealth. Neither of them are worth our interest. Can't wait for them to burn out so my kids won't be influenced when they are older and impressionabe in a few years. (Clicked on this by mistake btw!)
