She's often been pegged as one of the most beautiful women on the silver screen.

And even as she's hidden under an enormous bicycle helmet, Megan Fox couldn't hide her enviable looks on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in New York City on Friday.

She was pouting up a storm in the spring sunshine.

The Jennifer's Body star, who turns 27 later this month, didn't look too happy with her wardrobe choice as she was a bit down in the mouth during takes.

But despite the boyish attire, she looked to have no troubles maneuvering the two-wheeled machine and even adhered to safety laws wearing a boyish black helmet.

Having helmed three successful movies in the Transformers series, Megan is no stranger to filming her own stunts and looked ready for the challenge as she followed the cameras on the tight city streets.

Filming on the action flick kicked off late last month with many fans wondering if the Friends With Kids star would be donning April O'Neil's iconic yellow jumpsuit.

And Megan's done nothing but dissapoint, wearing on most days of production a modern take on the costume in a yellow leather coat over a more casual wardrobe of sweaters and denim trousers.

Action packed: Being a Michael Bay production, fans should expect a high amount of action scenes in the film

The mother-of-one has also taken her character to heart, dying her tresses red but keeping them long unlike April's distinct 1980's fringed bob cut.

Actresses Renae Jacobs, Mae Whitman, and Paige Turco, and Judith Hoag have all portrayed O'Neil in past incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And while the actors playing the new Turtles will be motion-captured a la Avatar - Megan will most certainly be in the flesh.

Producer Michael Bay is confident that the new technology will pay off when the film is released next year.

'When you see this movie, kids will believe one day that these turtles do exist, when we’re done' he said.

'These turtles [in the reboot] are from an alien race, and they’re going to be tough, edgy, funny, and completely lovable,' he added, hinting at the buzzed about plot.

The move to modernize the film is somewhat of a tradition with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which has seen a series of revamps since its inception as a children's animated TV series in 1987.

The show was later reborn in the late 1990s as a live-action series and brought back twice in the 2000's and last year in it's animated form.

TMNT marks the fifth feature film for the characters and will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, who helmed Wrath of the Titans, Battle Los Angeles, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.

The logline reads: 'Aliens invade Earth and inadvertently spawn a quartet of mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world.'

The action flick, due out June 2014, also stars Mirror, Mirror's Danny Woodburn, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire newcomer Alan Ritchson, and Twilight's Noel Fisher.

She and Lindsay Lohan have gone overboard with the face fillers ,actually you cannot even see the definition of her cheek bones in the sunlight. She is barely able to make facial expressions.Imagine what her face will look like when she is 50.

"Having helmed three successful movies in the Transformers series"? She was only in the first two Transformers films. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was in the third one.

Please don't get any more "work" done! You don't need it. Naturally beautiful!

I don't remember the original pics of April looking so buxom or maybe it just washed over me as a child luckily.

I used to think she was one of the prettiest girls I'd ever seen. I still think she is pretty, but she has messed with her face too much.

She is literally turning into a third Minogue sister with all that facial work done.
