She typically appears perfectly put together when attending engagements or filming her late-night talk show.

But Jenny McCarthy looked less than polished while leaving her hotel in New York City on Thursday.

The television host wore minimal makeup and left her pink-streaked hair in rollers as she stepped out for a stroll.

Despite forgoing heavy cosmetics, Jenny still revealed a nearly flawless complexion.

The 1994 Playmate Of The Year dressed casually in a black hooded sweatshirt and skinny jeans as she exited the building.

She slipped into heeled ankle boots and carried two leather totes while sipping an Arizona Iced Tea and attempting to cover her bare face.

Although she primarily lives in Chicago with 10-year-old son Evan, the 40-year-old mother films her Jenny McCarthy Show in New York City.

She recently tackled themes of self-image and confidence in her Chicago Sun-Times column, Daily Jenny, writing: ''Everyone, absolutely everyone, goes through periods where they feel insecure about something. It’s always important to remember that no one is perfect.

'In order to love anyone else you need to love yourself first. If you can master this, you can love anyone, even haters.

'When you love yourself, you love what you see and you love who you are with no matter what,' she added.
