At times it's hard to figure out if Ashley Tisdale thinks her fans are a bit on the dumb side or she just doesn't care.

The 27-year-old gave her fans a treat as she slipped into a bandeau bikini on Laguna Beach in California.

But the ever sassy Ashley showed just how she likes to keep safe in the sunshine with a conveniently placed bottle of sunscreen.

In fact, the former High School Musical star made sure the label of her L'Oreal Paris Sublime Sun Sunscreen Oil was visible to onlookers at all angles.

Of course, the singer and actress could just want to share her love of the sun screen with fans or perhaps she is just a deep believer in staying covered up in the sun.

Either way the gorgeous singer looked fantastic in her neon bikini, showing off her toned arms and legs in the sunshine.

With her brown dip-dyed hair loose around her shoulders the sassy star kept her eyes protected from the sun with some celebrity shades.

Ashley has been busy of late in the recording studio and has been regularly tweeting about her sessions.

The newly brunette star posted on Twitter last week that she was making songs that day, writing: ‘Recording music :) :) :).’

It seemed her Annie Automatic star boyfriend Christopher French was providing inspiration as she posted a shot of his song Miss McKenzie off the album, Don’t Look Down playing on her car music system.

Prior to her current relationship she dated musician Jared Murillo and music video director Scott Speer.

If you only saw the DM's story you might believe their claim that she always made sure the bottles front label was visible. But if you go somewhere that shows more of the pictures taken by the paps you would see that in many the bottle isn't label first. Not saying the DM manipulated the story, but...
