He's feeling wild! Roberto Cavalli wears tiny leopard print trunks as he enjoys a day with a female friend on his yacht in Monaco

He's never afraid to incorporate a wild sense of style into his designs and it seems that Roberto Cavalli loves nothing more than a spot of leopard print.

The 72-year-old was spotted wearing a pair of tiny trunks in the animal print, as he made the most of a sunny day in Monaco with a female friend.

Roberto strode around his yacht confidently in the daring swimwear, before jumping off the side of the boat and into the sea.

The Italian designer's girlfriend showed off an impressive shape in a mismatched bikini.

Robert's female friend, who is decades younger than him, wore a simple black bandeau top and a pair of leopard print pants.

The brunette beauty proved to be on hand to help the designer and gave him a towel to help him fry off.

Cooling off: Temperatures proved too much for the fashion designer who jumped off the boat and into the sea for a dip

It wasn't just the two of them aboard his two-tone boat, an Alsatian dog was also seen padding around the decking.

Robert spend much of the summer months on his 41ft boat, which he designed himself.

The vessel is worth £20million, has a crew of four people and can comfortably sleep eight guests.

Roberto often hosts parties and invites his famous friends inboard for trips.

In 2009 Roberto was said to have ended marriage to Eva, after 28 years together.

Roberto Cavalli has a dog yet promotes fur in his designs. I saw Simon Cowell's video showing a dog being skinned alive in China, which is the largest producer of fur in the world. I could only watch a few seconds of it. What is wrong with people who push fur?

Would look much more dignified in a pair of the long shorts the young guys wear these days. Nothing wrong with what he's doing, but he is showing a lot of droopy skin which really doesnt look good.
