Stepping out of the shadows! Michelle Williams stand out on her own as she dons bright pink suit and racy leather bra to awards show

She stood in the shadows of Beyonce and Kelly Rowland during her Destiny's Child years.

But Michelle Williams is making sure she's seen nowadays.

The 30-year-old singer attended the 2013 SESAC Pop Music Awards in New York City on Monday night in a hot pink ensemble.

Wearing head-to-toe fuchsia, the five foot nine gospel singer certainly made her presence known.

Tight ankle-length trousers hugged her slender long legs, leaving little to the imagination despite covering her up.

A matching blazer was left open just enough to give attendees a little something extra to look at.

Sleek and chic: The 32-year-old singer kept her hair and makeup simple, but let her revealing mesh top and bra take the spotlight

A black mesh shirt layered on top of a black leather bra that caught the cameras' flashing lights.

She drew even more attention to her decolletage by wearing a long silver chain necklace that hung almost to her stomach.

Complementing her sexy mesh top were black simple strappy sandal heels.

On the same note: Swizz Beatz and singer-songwriter Rico Love rocked white suits, one of the track variety and the other a quilted and printed futuristic vibe

The singer wore her hair long, straightened and parted in the centre, letting it cascade over her blazer.

Honoring top publishers and songwriters in the music industry, the award ceremony brought out some of music's most prolific beat makers.

Also in attendance at the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers Awards were rapper and producer Swizz Beatz, singer-songwriter Rico Love, musician Andy Allo and songwriter Angela Hunte.
