Her addiction to crystal meth has seen her lose custody of twins sons Bob and Max.
And it has now emerged that Brooke Mueller's drug use was so bad that she was twice treated in rehab while PREGNANT with the four-year-olds.
Brooke's current stay in rehab is her twentieth attempt to get clean, with Charlie Sheen's ex-wife unable to kick the habit.

A source told Radar of her pregnancy treatment plan: 'She went to rehab twice because she was using drugs.
'It just shows how far gone Brooke is with her battle of using crystal meth. The fact that she couldn’t stay sober while carrying Bob and Max caused Charlie great anguish.'
Brooke's children were removed from her care after police responding to a report that she had attacked a man found her in an inebriated state.
Bob and Max were present in the house during the incident on May 1.

Officers called the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, who were reported have had an open case on the troubled mother.
Upon making the call to Family Services officers took Brooke into custody under a section 5150 – a California Welfare and Institutions Code that deems an individual to have a mental disorder making them a danger to themselves and others.
Brooke was placed under a three-day psychiatric hold and was later sent to rehab.
The children remain in the care of Denise Richards, the mother of Sheen's oldest two children Sam, nine, and Lola, seven.

Richards, 42, also has an adopted daughter, Eloise, and the five are said to be happily living together.
The actress married the Hot Shots star in 2002, but their union ended acrimoniously in 2006 and Richards later filed a restraining order against her ex-spouse.
However, the former lovers repaired their relationship for the sake of their children and in recent years have grown very close.
Sheen is reported have offered to give Richards more money for taking care of his two children while their mother Brooke is in rehab. But the actress politely declined.
The Anger Management star also pays Denise $55,000 a month in child support, but wanted to give her more as she tended to his twins.

If she could not give up her addiction throughout her pregnancy, I highly doubt losing her boys will sober her.
