Catch me if you can! Sandra Bullock is entertained as son Louis darts away for more playtime after preschool

She has previously said her son gives her a ‘second chance at childhood’.

And Sandra Bullock seemed to be relishing the perks of being a mother on Thursday as she picked her son up from preschool.

The actress couldn’t help but smile as she watched her son Louis Bardo entertain himself in the street.

Sandra grinned while keeping an eye on him as she ran across a lawn outside the school gates.

The hyper youngster wasn’t able to stay holding her hand for long as he itched to bounce around on the grass.

The thespian was casually dressed for the errand, wearing a black cardigan and blue jeans with flat studded pumps on her feet.

Her son also sported denim trousers, but teamed it with black and white checked shoes with a green top and navy blue cap.

Sandra adopted Louis back in January 2010, when she was still married to Jesse James, and finalised the adoption as a single parent when the two split.

The Blind Side star had said that adopting her son has changed her outlook on life.

She told Extra in December 2011: 'If you let a child into your life, you get a second chance at a childhood and you do things you thought were long past.'

Although she has a little one, it seems she is still finding the time to carry out work projects.

This year Sandra appears as Special Agent Sarah Ashburn in The Heat. She plays an uptight FBI member who is paired with testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) in order to take down a ruthless drug lord.

The hitch: neither woman has ever had a partner - or a friend for that matter – in the film out July 17 in the United Kingdom.

She also portrays Dr. Ryan Stone in 2013 flick Gravity, out October 18 in Britain.

Pairing up with George Clooney, astronauts attempt to return to earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in space.

The busy single parent will voice super-villain Scarlett Overkill in the animated flick Minions, also featuring Jon Hamm as husband Herb.

48, not even a HINT she is in her 40's at all, she is older and looks better than Halle Berry I have to say. I love the way she is always with her son, you can tell they give each other so much happiness. This boy is so bless to get all this mother love, he could have been missing out on so much if Sandra was too scared to take this leap and mega commitment. She took it and she is now committed and he is blessed.
