Arbor Day: Friday, April 26

Celebrate Arbor Day at Tower Hill! From 9am - 2pm, Members of the Massachusetts Arborists Association will demonstrate properArborDay.jpg tree pruning techniques and other tree care tips as they help our staff care for Tower Hill's plant collections. MAA members and Tower Hill staff will answer visitor questions about tree care. Arbor Day offers a great opportunity to get into the spirit of the holiday and learn the latest techniques for planting and caring for trees to ensure they thrive. Also, the field of 25,000+ daffodils is at peak display, as well as thousands of other spring bulbs and flowering trees.

Following the tree care tips and pruning demonstrations, there will be a Guided Tour of the Garden at 2pm, with an emphasis on Cary Award winning trees.

There will also be free coloring books and puzzles for children (while supplies last), and an Asian Longhorned Beetle Eradication Program information table.

The first 25 people to join Tower Hill as Members on Arbor Day will receive a FREE tree sapling to plant at home!

Arbor Day activities are included with regular admission to the Garden. Children under 6 and Tower Hill members FREE.
