Example traded in his jogging bottoms and trainers for an exceptionally smart looking suit to marry fiancée Erin McNaught, last weekend.

The London-born rapper wed Australian TV presenter Erin in an intimate ceremony Down Under in front of a small group of friends and family at the Deux Belettes guesthouse in Ballina, near Brisbane, on Saturday.

Example, real name Elliot Gleave, looked a million miles away from his usual raver's appearance as he tied the knot with his stunning model partner.

Gleave, 30, looked exquisitely dapper and suave in a black two piece with a matching tie, shoes and a white shirt.

However, even though his new style transformed him into a tall, dark and handsome groom, he was still thoroughly outdone by the beautiful bride.

Erin, also 30, put her catwalk talent to expert use as she looked effortlessly dazzling in her strapless white wedding dress.

With her hair pulled up and back neatly Erin couldn't help but show off her limited edition Cruel Summer inspired heels which were designed by Kanye West and Giuseppe Zanotti.

While the bride and groom kept things relatively traditional with their formal attire, Example surprised guests by breaking from tradition by picking a cinematic soundtrack for their big day.

The Changed the Way You Kiss Me singer played the haunting Star Wars theme at his wedding.

Erin let her man be in charge of the music, and he surprised his guests by breaking from tradition by picking a cinematic soundtrack for their big day.

As well as playing The Imperial March, the orchestral song associated with movie villain Darth Vader, Example also played the theme from Jurassic Park and the xylophone music from True Romance when the time came to walk down the aisle.

The rapper was overcome with emotion on his big day, which took place on a farm in front of a modest group of 70 guests, but his new bride managed to keep her composure.

He told The Sun: 'I wasn't nervous on the day until the moment I saw Erin walking down the aisle. For the most part I held it together, but as soon as I started reading my vows, I had to shed a few tears.'

As well as personally writing his own vows he also recited a special poem for his new bride at the reception, but unbeknownst to him, his father also prepared a poem about him.

He said: 'My dad's speech had everyone roaring with laughter. His entire speech was a poem about my life from baby to man. Then, when it came to my speech, I also had a poem.

'Neither of us knew we had poems prepared. It could almost have been called a father/son rap battle.'

In order to keep his nerves in check the rapper relaxed by taking a six mile run before the ceremony, tweeting: 'It's 7.30am. Just going for a little 6 mile jog. Ceremony starts in 6 hours. Not sure if this is normal protocol for your wedding day... ? (sic)'

He also revealed he had been working hard on his speech for the reception, explaining: 'I had one that was 17 minutes long, the whole speech, and I've whittled it down to about ten because I've been asking all mates who've got married, how long should it be?

'I don't want to ramble on for ages like I do with my radio interviews sometimes, so hopefully it all goes fine. I mean it's all about the best man's speech anyway.'

Example and Erin met in 2011 when she interviewed him for MTV Australia and became engaged in November 2012.

DM, the 'xylophone music from True Romance' is by Hans Zimmer and it's lovely music for a wedding. Would it have killed you to find out the name of the composer?

She looks like she's playing a role on a shoot rather than marrying the man she loves - I'd be a bit worried about that if I was him.

I love her sandals. They are very much different from what the average so called women would wear. Congrats to both

Everything was perfect and beautiful, until I saw those ugly kanye west/giuseppe zanotti shoes :(. Despite that, they're both sooo lovely and handsome. Wish them the best!
