Rihanna heads back to the recording studio as she shares raunchy swimsuit picture of herself dressed as Marilyn Monroe

Her love life might be up and down, but when it comes to her work ethic she is clearly extremely focused.

Rihanna arrived at a recording studio in Long Beach, California looking both pinky and perky as she prepared to lay down some vocals.

The 25-year-old was back at work having recently completed a music video shoot for single Pour It Up, for which she shared a raunchy behind-the-scenes picture.

Rihanna looked like a woman on a mission as she exited her convertible Porsche and walked through the car park to the studio.

The Diamonds singer showed off her amazing figure in a plain grey dress that clung to her body in all the right places.

The fitted frock particularly showed off her rather pert cleavage as she made sure she had all the essentials with her.

With her Apple laptop and iPhone keeping her hands full, the Bajan star hid her eyes behind a pair of pink sunglasses.

Her best friend Melissa Forde ‏shared a behind the scenes photograph of Rihanna in a very revealing costume in which she is clearly trying to emulate the late great Marilyn Monroe.

Sporting a blonde curly wig, that was reminicent of Monroe's hair, the image was captioned '#isthisratchetenough?? #PouritupVideoshoot @badgalriri'.

The picture was taken last weekend, but it is not the first time the singer has referenced the iconic 1950s sex symbol.

'Red lipstick, rose petals, heartbreak / I was his Marilyn Monroe,' she sings in her tune Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary on her latest album Unapologetic.

Rihanna appears to be focusing hard on her career as she once again is said to have split up with on/off boyfriend Chris Brown.

However, he father Ronald Fenty thinks she'll get back together with the Turn Up The Music.

The singer has only just split from the bad boy rapper, who brutally battered her in a 2009 assault, but her father believes it's not the end for the turbulent pair and would like to see them reunite in the future.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Ronald said: 'I'm still his [Chris Brown's] no.1 fan - I still like Chris regardless. They have a very passionate relationship but if they split up it does not mean it's for ever with them. In a couple of months, they'll be back together.'

To be hnest who actually cares if she has a great body, it doesnt change the fact that she is an awful role model to all her YOUNG fans and not a very talented artist either.
