How embarrassing! A bra-less Lady Victoria Hervey gets kicked off the red carpet in Cannes after posing for too long

Lady Victoria Hervey committed the ultimate faux pas at the Cannes Film Festival.

As if her outfit choice, a rather revealing lace peach dress, wasn't enough - the 36-year-old former It girl posed for so long on the red carpet she was moved on by security.

Socialite Lady Victoria, who is not even in French film Blood Ties, was told several times by security that she should move on because she was 'hogging the red carpet'.

However the slim aristocrat would not be told and forced a rather dapper looking security guard to actually eject her from the star-studded red carpet.

Lady Victoria, who is the daughter of the late 6th Marquess Of Bristol and his third wife Yvonne Marie Sutton, is known for her racy outfit choices but being kicked off the red carpet is a new low for the aspiring actress.

Victoria looked stern as she posed up on the red carpet in her peach lace dress which barely covered her thin frame.

Don't you know who I am? Sadly for Lady Victoria Hervey the answer was no

Opting to go without her underwear Lady Victoria looked decidedly stocky as she posed up with chunky gold shoes and a sparkling clutch bag.

Since moving to Los Angeles several years ago, Victoria has tried to make a place for herself in Hollywood, landing odd acting jobs here and there including a small part in the 2004 film RX opposite Colin Hanks playing a diner waitress.

She even made friends with Lindsay Lohan a few years ago in an effort to be in the 'in crowd'.

Revealing: Lady Victoria's outfit is not the only embarrassing occurrence on the red carpet

It is unclear if Lady Victoria actually watched the film Blood Ties.

With Guillaume Canet at its helm as director, Blood Ties is a a remake of 2008 French thriller Les Liens Du Sang by Jacques Maillot, an adaptation of the French novel of the same name by Bruno and Michel Papet.

Also at Cannes on Monday was James Franco, who was promoting new movie As I Lay Dying alongside Tim Blake Nelson, Ahna O'Reill and Beth Grant.

The stars of the film opted for floor-length dresses - decidedly more demure than Lady Victoria.

And all eyes were on 37-year-old actress Marion Cotillard as she swept on to the red carpet in a white, yellow and black bandeau dress.

With her dark hair slicked into a chic French bun Marion was proudly on the arm of her co-stars Clive Owen and James Caan.

oh LVH your time is up! I remember when you got kicked out of the bond premier in London! Or the other time you got dragged out of the loos in Soho (yes I was there) because you weren't having a tinkle!

Zoe looks beautiful on that dress, and Marion's dress looks ten thousand times better on her that on the Dior Model

I think she looks very elegant. I wonder what she said to the security guy in the second photo to make him gesticulate in that manner? Something to do with 'plebs' methinks.- The Voice of Reason, London, 21/5/2013 8:02>>>>>>>>>>>it looked to me that she was not focusing on what he was saying to her, hence the look me in the eye gesture...never heard of her and not surprised...hopefully this will not be her entrance to 'fame'

Our politicians don't need to make us look idiots on the world stage, we can do it ouselves. Just today we have the unfeeling and unintelligent comments made by some Brits on these pages about the Oklahoma disaster. And this embarrassment of a woman.

Milla Jovovich. I always feel she could look a thousand times better than she does. She always has odd clothes and hair and YET she still looks a thousand times better than anyone else!
