The grin that says 'I do'! 30 Rock's Katrina Bowden and Ben Jorgensen exchange vows on a rainy New York day

It may have been raining, but nothing could dampen the spirits of Katrina Bowden and Ben Jorgensen as they gazed into each other's eyes on their wedding day.

The 30 Rock actress and her musician husband got hitched in a ceremony the couple organized themselves at the picturesque Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York City on Sunday.

The 24-year-old pretty blonde looked stunning in a sleeveless white wedding dress, while Ben, 29, appeared dashing in a navy suit.

During the nuptials, Katrina couldn't help but drape her arms around the former frontman of rock band Armor For Sleep as they both smiled at each other adoringly.

It was a wedding that Katrina admitted she and Ben had organized themselves.

'(The location) was so easy to choose. It was the first and only place we visited,' Katrina told Us Weekly.

And unlike a lot of brides, Katrina revealed that when it came to picking her wedding dress it was a breeze.

Katina said: 'I knew that was the one. I was like, 'Okay, this is it. Let's do this.'

With his musical ties, Ben was in charge of the playlist for the ceremony. He saw his bride walk down the aisle to an orchestral arrangement of Aerosmith's hit I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing.

Then, before they said their 'I do's' they read out their self-written vows.

The pair first dated several years ago, but it wasn't until 2010 that they reconnected. And in January 2012, before the Screen Actors Guild, they got engaged.

Katrina and Ben now plan on spending their honeymoon in Hawaii and have a set-up a website for guests to help fund their trip.
