If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were to decide to hold their nuptials at their Chateau Miraval, then it appears they have been given a look into the future.

The Hollywood couple's home in France was the subject of a television prank on Monday as two jokers broke into their grounds, one dressed as Brad with another as a particularly unconvincing Angelina.

French authorities were promptly called and the pair of misfits were escorted off the premises.

Punk'd: The not very convincing duo were eventually turfed out of Brad and Angelina's property

The two men are said to have been performing a skit for French television show Action Discrete, and were dressed up as if they were getting married.

There has been much speculation over when Brad and Angelina, 37, will eventually tie the knot.

Brad, who is promoting his new movie World War Z, recently revealed that he is the happiest he has ever been with his wife, despite having both gone through difficult times lately.

Not welcome: Brad and Aneglina ironically were said to be concerned about security when holding their wedding at their Miraval property

The actor opened up in an interview with Esquire and spoke about how he supported Angelina after she underwent a preventative double mastectomy.

‘I have very few friends. I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven’t known life to be any happier,’ he said.

Mother-of-six Angelina is said to have turned down a string of film roles - including the sequel to her hit movie Salt - to undergo three months of invasive treatment after learning she had an 87 per cent chance of developing breast cancer.

The real deal: Brad and Angelina, as they would normally appear at events, have both hinted they would like to marry someday

But there have been further reports that following the surgery, the pair are now keen to get married 'sooner rather than later'

The pair got engaged in 2011 when Brad proposed with a $500,000 diamond ring and in November, the he said they would be walking down the aisle 'soon'.

The couple are parents to Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

World war z-listers: The French television pranksters were clearly not welcome, or recognised by the French authorities

And Brad has admitted this his children are pressuring the couple to get hitched.

'I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come,' he said.

'The time is nigh. It's soon. I got a good feeling about it.'

Brad also revealed what they had in mind for the big day, saying: 'Just family. Keep it simple. Keep it simple – really.'
