A white man named Joseph went to a Woodbridge, Virginia, Walmart with his three biracial daughters and was later questioned by police who feared he'd abducted them. Joseph's wife Keana, who is black, says the officer asked their 4-year-old to point out her mom and dad before leaving satisfied the children were theirs. A customer apparently alerted Walmart security that Joseph and the girls 'didn't fit.'

Authorities are searching for a robbery suspect seen wearing a bright lime green dress but without any obvious facial mask to rob a bank in Stuart, Iowa of an undisclosed amount of money on Monday. German researchers have developed a computer system created in openFrameworks - a creative coding program - that can scan Google Earth satellite images looking for faces. The scanner searches the entire world, switches to the next zoom level and starts again, taking snapshots and co-ordinates of all the 'faces' it finds. Onformative admit that not all the so-called faces are recognisable and these are dismissed.

Surveillance video shows the shocking moment an 11-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a Disney Cruise Line employee in an elevator when the ship was docked at Port Canaveral, Florida last August. Almost 2,000 performers - including monks, singers (inset), musicians, dancers and local villagers - took part in the ceremony against the stunning backdrop of the sacred Songshan Mountain. Songshan's western edge is home to the famous Shaolin Temple - hailed by many as the cradle of martial arts.
