The long and short of it! Elsa Pataky glitters in a leg-baring playsuit at Fast And Furious 6 premiere... while Michelle Rodriguez picks a peplum gown

The movie focuses mostly on its leading men so when it came to the Los Angeles premiere of Fast And Furious 6 on Tuesday, the female stars pulled out all the stops.
Elsa Pataky and Michelle Rodriguez appeared determined not to compete for the best dressed crown and instead went for very different looks.
Elsa, who is married to Chris Hemsworth, took something of a risk in a black sequined playsuit, but looked cute and chic in the outfit.

The actress showed off her tanned and lean legs in the sparkling ensemble, which also had a sexy cut-out panel on the back.
The 36-year-old accessorised with strappy silver sandals and a navy miniature box clutch.
Meanwhile Michelle covered up a lot more but still brought lots of sex appeal to the red carpet thanks to the form-fitting nature of her dress.

Stunning at every angle: Michelle, who wore her brunette locks in a ponytail, gave a twirl to show off her gown
She chose a white peplum gown which fit her athletic body like a glove and had a strap over just one shoulder.
Michelle also wore gold heels and her dark brunette locks tied in a high ponytail, completing her look with statement scarlet lipstick.
The 34-year-old turned and twirled for the cameras so as to show off her frock – and her figure – at every angle.

It seemed that the dress code for the evening was monochrome, with all of the stars in attendance wearing black, white or both.
Ludacris was the only one to break the rules as he teamed his crisp white suit and check bow tie with a red gingham shirt.
The handsome rapper held hands with his gorgeous girlfriend Eudoxie as he arrived, with an excited look on his face.
The thigh's the limit: Gal Gadot's dress was floor-sweeping but she showed lots of skin with a plunging neckline and split all the way up to the top of her leg

Grecian goddess: Gina Carano looked lovely in a flowing frock encrusted with small silver beads
Vibrant hues: Rocsi Diaz showed off her curves in a figure-hugging colourful dress paired with orange strappy heels
He was also seen catching up with Luke Evans, who wore a classic black suit with partially unbuttoned white shirt.
Ludacris, 35, who also stars in the film, performed an outdoor concert for the delighted crowd as part of the premiere.
He was joined on stage by Vin Diesel, who dressed down in jeans, a white T-shirt, black bomber jacket and aviator sunglasses.

Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz also performed during the low-key concert ahead of the movie screening, and when he wasn’t onstage 2 Chainz chatted to Tyrese Gibson.
Wiz was joined at the event by his fiancée Amber Rose, who looked lovely in a black and white shift dress which accentuated her weight loss after giving birth in February.
Not everyone managed to pull off their monochrome look however, as Tara Reid made a very bizarre and poor choice for the evening.
She dressed in a tiny white dress which put her pins and cleavage on display, and had black ribbon piping as well as three oddly placed black bows.

Gina Carano and Gal Gadot meanwhile both chose floor-sweeping gowns but Gal’s also had a side split all the way up to her thigh.
Noticeably absent were Paul Walker and the movie’s leading lady Jordana Brewster, who tweeted, ‘Wish I was there,’ as she sat the premiere out.
Fast And Furious 6 hits cinemas internationally on May 24.
And no time is being wasted on the production of a seventh instalment, with filming due to begin in August of this year.
