Mind the wind doesn't change: Selena Gomez still manages to look stunning while pulling faces at fans outside Radio 1

It's usually the norm for celebrities to try and make sure they look their best at all times, perfecting their smiles to be camera ready at any moment.

But it's refreshing to see at least some stars don't take themselves too seriously.

And that certainly goes for Selena Gomez, who happily pulled faces for photos as she arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios on Wednesday morning.

Although her efforts to look zany and pull faces did little to detract from the fact she looked stunning for the outing.

Selena's style seems to have come completely into its own and Wednesday was no different as she revealed her dressed up look.

The 20-year-old actress wore navy skinny jeans with a loose black top, while she kept warm with a white blazer over the top.

She completed her perfect look with a matching white leather handbag and some leopard print shoes with blue printed over the toes.

Gomez wore her dark locks down and poker straight so her hair looked extra long.

And despite only being interviewed for the radio airwaves, she ensured she looked her best with a slick of red lipstick rounding off her look.

She arrived ready to be grilled by Nick Grimshaw for the Radio 1 Breakfast Show.

And it seemed excited to meet her as he tweeted his fans: 'MORNING! Selena Gomez is on the show this morning. Listen but also watch with your eyes.'

Later on heads at Radio 1 also shared a picture of himself in his daily 'Instagrim booth' alongside Selena, next to the caption: 'looking fine, fresh and fierce it's @grimmers and @selenagomez in our #Instagrim booth :).'

Gomez had only jetted into London on Tuesday ahead of the interview and even at the tender age of 20, Selena could show a few senior celebrities a few things about dressing to travel.

The stunning brunette glided off a flight from America's West Coast into the sharp air of London looking even sharper herself, especially after nine hours on a plane.

Sure, she'll have been Upper Class all the way but even the ability to turn right when you get on the plane doesn't bestow a magical ability to look effortless while you do it.

Selena knocked it out of the park in her simple ensemble.

She wore a pair of baggy patterned trousers, a long black cardigan and classic Chanel loafers.

Selena completed the look with a luxurious looking white leather tote and a pair of Ray Bans that were lined with orange.

The jury's still out as to whether or not Selena is back on with on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber.

They made sure to be seated apart and not seen together throughout the entire 2013 Billboard Music Awards show.

However, backstage it was a completely different story as after bumping into one another, Selena put her arm around Justin to lean in and give him a tender kiss on the cheek.

What's going on here? Selena's pal Taylor Swift witnessed the interaction and was seen smiling and giggling

Selena and Justin‘s casual meet up was captured on Billboard’s online backstage video feed after the show.

In the video, Justin is seen standing with one of his pals, as Selena and her best friend and fellow singer Taylor Swift walk past.

Selena stops to talk to Justin and puts her arm around him and pulls him in for a kiss on the side of his face.

In the video it also appears that Justin tries to pull her in for a kiss on the lips before Selena seemingly pinches him on the cheek.

Sharing: Selena later posted the picture on her Instagram account, proudly captioning it: 'Vegas hug + kiss'

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Miami's radio station Y100, Selena said she was nowhere near ready to get married... to anyone.

'I’m sure I was that little girl that wanted to be married at 20, but no that’s definitely not anything I want on my radar,' she said.

She also discussed her mother Mandy's pregnancy, saying at the time of the interview that she would be spending time on Mother's Day with her expecting mother.

she is a constant publicity machine. but for WHAT? she cannot sing and none of her songs are hits. she cannot act and critics panned her recent movie. and yet she is in our faces every day. I guess this is what happens when you grow up in the Disney factory.

It seems she's put on weight recently, she looks good and I think it makes her look older with a bit more meat on her. I am also LOVING her hair.

I love the pictures she took with Grimmy. It shows how normal and down to earth she is. Selenas beginning to grow on me again :) I just don't understand why Selenas gone back to Justin. Its kinda obvious she doesn't like him as much as he likes her because in the video, as he was going for the lips, she dodged it and kissed him on the cheek :P
