Sharon Stone has wet hair and no make-up as she tucks into lunch in just a dressing gown hours before stunning red carpet turn

As she arrived on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Behind The Candelabra on Tuesday, Sharon Stone made for a mesmerising sight.

But just hours earlier, the actress could not have looked more low-key.

She may have been dining on Roberto Cavalli’s yacht but the 55-year-old happily showed off her natural beauty.

She didn’t wear a scrap of make-up for the al fresco meal and her blonde hair was still wet as she left it to dry in the sunshine.

The other guests having lunch with Sharon had done their best to look smart but Sharon was every inch the diva as she reclined in just a dressing gown.

As such a seasoned star it’s no surprise that a red carpet appearance doesn’t faze her in the slightest.

Sharon happily tucked into a bowl of soup and a glass of rose wine, appearing to be in holiday mode even though she was about to get to work.

Before getting ready for the premiere the Basic Instinct star had been seen relaxing on the boat in a casual outfit of black and white striped top and jeans.

After her relaxing lunch, Sharon’s hair and make-up team worked their magic and she looked sensational by the time she arrived at the screening.

Sharon dazzled in a plunging cobalt blue gown which showed off plenty of cleavage and fitted her slender and athletic figure like a glove.

Sharon kept her hair and make-up relatively simple for the event and teamed her gorgeous gown with a diamond and emerald multi-strand necklace.

Once the star-studded screening had drawn to a close, Sharon slipped into another stunning dress for the after-party.

Sharon flashed a hint of sideboob in a backless red gown, which featured a racy cut-out design at the side.

In addition to its skimpy top half, the one-shoulder number had a soaring split up the thigh, revealing the Hollywood megastar's toned and tanned legs as she chatted away to her fellow guests.

And it would certainly seem that Sharon's red hot look had made her particularly popular with the male attendees, with men seeming to be almost queuing up in the hope of grabbing a few minutes with her.

She attends my church when she is in town and she's a lovely, slender and petite woman who, while she does not really engage, sits in the congregation like everyone else and always has a warm smile for those who recognise her.
