Rihanna has treated fans to a cheeky sneak peek of her new music video.

The 25-year-old posted an extremely saucy close-up of her perfectly toned bare behind, with nothing but a thong covering it, from the set of her Pour It Up clip. 

And given her ex Chris Brown has once again been spending time with her love rival Karrueche Tran, the picture might also have also been aimed at him.

If Rihanna intended to show him what he was missing out on, she probably hit the mark.

The photo, which appeared to be taken in a make-up room or studio, featured the Stay singer's perfectly toned behind... not an imperfection in sight.

Rihanna wore a pink lacy thong, underneath what was merely the skeleton of a pair of denim shorts.

The shorts were quite literally ripped or cut until they too were nothing more than a thong.

Rihanna refers to 'strip clubs' and 'strippers goin' up and down that pole' in the lyrics to her song Pour It Up, so it's not unlikely that such an outfit may form a part of the daring singer's wardrobe for the video.

Rihanna's provocative gesture was rather timely, as rumours that her ex has been gallivanting about with Karrueche again have been running rampant of late.

Karrueche lit the fire with a raunchy Instagram upload on Saturday, her birthday: a snap of her thrusting her naked bottom into the Chris' face.

Alongside the candid picture, she wrote: 'TBT my birthday last year. Who's face am I gonna put my ass in this year? Lmao I'm kidding.'

Chris responded to her bizarre with the tweet: 'Happy bday @karrueche.'

Karrueche then sent a simple reply of her own, a heart, adding yet further fuel to rumours the pair are thinking of reuniting.

As if that wasn't enough for Rihanna to stomach, Chris was involved in a minor car accident on Tuesday in Los Angeles after he rear ended another car, and none other than Karreuche was seen standing with him at the scene.

The picture is disgusting. Rihanna has no class is trashy and desperate. Why is this picture seen as sexy. Just because you have a fab body doesn't mean you show off every inch of it all the time
