They've been married for six years, and raise two young sons together.

But Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster could have easily passed for a pair of loved-up honeymooners as they enjoyed a romantic stroll around Portofino, Italy, on Thursday.

The 68-year-old rocker and his model wife looked the picture of happiness as they soaked up the sun on the Italian Riviera, wrapping their arms around each other tenderly as they strolled through the picturesque town.

After a while, the pair - who tied the knot back in 2007 - stopped for a coffee, and seemed to be giggling away as a fan approached the Maggie May hitmaker to sing his praises.

Penny, 42, looked incredible as she stepped out for the day, putting on a leggy display in a red ruffle-detail floral minidress, which she teamed with flat sandals and dark shades.

Meanwhile Rod, looked dapper in smart jeans and a tailored blue and white striped shirt as he enjoyed a day out with his beautiful wife.

And it's no wonder the music legend had plenty to smile about, with his first album of self-penned songs in 20 years, Time, shooting to the top of the UK album charts last weekend.

Rod, who has two sons Alastair, seven, and Aiden, three with Penny, recently revealed his recipe for seduction.

In an interview with US radio host Howard Stern, he said: 'You’ve got to understand when you’ve got two small kids and you’re both in bed and your son comes home through the door and says mum! dad! – We’ve got to fit it in between the children.

‘Four of them live with me and although it’s a massive house it’s very noisy. We go to Florida three or four times a year and that’s probably when I get my leg over the most.’

Rod has a further six children, Sarah, 50, Kimberly, 33, Sean, 32, Ruby, 25, Renee, 20, and Liam, 18, with his former partners.

Her legs are not that great! Yes, they are long, but they are also sinewy and need toning up. And why does she wear her skirts so short. She's not 20 anymore (check out Penny at the Loose Women studious the other day. You'll see what I mean!).

No her legs aren't perfect, but who has perfect legs? There is no such thing. She is gorgeous - they look really happy together. Any haters are just jealous..I am not ashamed to say I am a little jealous myself.. Who wouldn't want that life?!!
