It seems Katy Perry has no need to worry about getting along with the neighbours of her new mansion.
For the 28-year-old has invested her hard-earned money wisely in TWO adjacent properties located in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles.
On one of the sites sits a breathtakingly contemporary-style home consisting of 2,916 square feet of living space.
But that's not all - Katy's $11.5million purchase also includes a Spanish-style home on the lot next door.
California Gurl: Katy Perry has dropped $11.5 million on two adjacent Hollywood Hills properties, one of which features this marvelous contemporary style home
The main home is described as a mid-20th Century abode.
It was built in 1953 and features an open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling walls of windows and modern angular roof.
The idea was to incorporate the indoor with the outdoor living spaces, hence it's clean, seamless feel throughout.
Real estate mogul: The 28-year-old singer sold the Los Angeles home she bought with then-husband Russell Brand and is ready to create new memories elsewhere
House of glass: The 2,916 square feet of living space seems larger thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows
Katy, who grew up in Santa Barbara, California, will appreciate the quiet seclusion and trees.
There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms, which should afford Katy plenty of room for herself and her out-of-town friends who will certainly want to drop by.
The long rectangular pool that lies just beyond the glass walls is inviting and reflects the sky and surrounding trees.
Secluded: The house features a seamless feel from inside to outside, and is surrounded by hills and shaded by many trees
The kitchen has been updated with high-end appliances and features an eat-in bar that's so cosy and quaint.
The bathrooms all include brand-new features as well including modern light wood cabinets, his and her sinks and cool grey stone counters.
Next door Katy's second home was was also built in the 1950s and features three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in 3,884 square feet.
Let me entertain you: The pop singer will have fun hosting parties for her friends and family in this locale
Quaint and modern: Originally built in 1953, the kitchen has been updated with high-end appliances
The Wide Awake singer previously owned a Spanish-style mansion with then-husband Russell Brand, but she sold that home last month.
It seems to be the right time to make new memories.
Katy, who split from singer John Mayer in March, is apparently keeping company with 31-year-old CAA agent, Michael Kives, according to Star Magazine.
Airy: The master bedroom provides a restful vibe with its light wood built-ins and polished wood floor
The smiling pair were seen driving away from the Chateau Marmont in Katy's car on March 9.
Meanwhile Katy has been working hard on a new album set to be released this summer.
Her previous albums, 2008's One of the Boys and 2010's Teenage Dream, included five No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
His and hers: The master bath features a charming tub and two sinks
Private hideaway: Katy will enjoy coming home to this every day
