Selma Blair keeps her hands full.

The Anger Management star showed off her excellent mothering and balancing skills as she toted her tot Arthur along in her arms for a shopping spree in Los Angeles.

Selma, 40, left the stroller at home so she could cradle her 22-month-old old son close as she picked out a few items at Jill Roberts clothing store.

Arthur kept things lively with his constant babbling and laughter, at one point breaking into a peal of giggles.

The dark-haired actress could not help but smile, obviously drinking in every precious moment of her child's daytime antics.

Selma got a workout too during her adventurous outing as she hoisted Arthur into a more snug part of her hip shelf, bending her knees a little as a bolster.

The single star was dressed comfortably in dark shorts and a loose black blouse, adding ankle-strapped red flats for a flash of colour.

She wore black-framed blue-tinted sunglasses that gave her appearance a chic Bohemian look.

There was a grey cardigan wrapped around her slender waist in case she got cold later on.

Arthur looked too cute in navy-striped long shorts, grey long-sleeved shirt and blue trainers.

Selma's face lights up whenever she's seen with Arthur.

She and Arthur's father, fashion designer Jason Bleick, separated in September after two years together.

The actress has made it known that the transition has not been an easy one.

She told TV Week: 'Somehow I was just hanging on. But then it caught up with me -- totally -- and, since then, I’ve just fallen apart.

'I need to get myself back together so I can go back to work so I can pay for a house for this baby.'

These days Selma and Jason are getting along well as they co-parent Arthur together.

Luckily, the talented actress has her plum role of Kate Wales on FX's Anger Management to keep herself occupied.
