Carmen Electra was amongst the stars gathering at the annual Life Ball in Vienna on Saturday night.

The Baywatch actress wowed onlookers as she attended the money raising event in an elegant gown.

The former TV star, 41 - who is currently attempting to resurrect her singing career - was glowing in a black dress with sparkling details.

With sheer detailing on her back, and delicate lace arms, Carmen looked simply lovely as she attended the biggest charity event in Europe supporting people with HIV or AIDS.

The blonde star invoked Hollywood glamour as she gazed at admirers over he back from the red carpet.

Her hair was carefully pinned to one side in a simple, yet beautiful, style, with careful eye make-up extending her lashes and exposing her sparkling blue eyes.

Her overall make-up was subtle with nude lipstick giving a natural effect to her lips.

She looked ready for the high profile event - which also included a fashion show from this year's fashion collaborator, Roberto Cavalli - and had scrubbed up beautifully since she arrived at Vienna's airport earlier in the day.

A variety of other celebrities were also in attendance at the event, all keen to help raise the issue and awareness of HIV.

American actress Melanie Griffith, 55, was also there looking chic in a long white dress.

She kept herself covered with a light jacket for the evening event and accessorized with a small white hand-bag.

The Working Girl star also sported impressive jewellery as she made her entrance on Saturday night.

Oscar winning actress Hillary Swank was also at the event as she had presented Crystal of Hope donated by Swarovski - awarded to an outstanding initiative in the response to HIV/AIDS.

Four organisations received the award this year, including the MARIPOSA Center for girls in the Dominican Republic.

Hillary attended the evening event in a silver and black short, sleeveless dress, tied around her with a cute golden bow.

Wild child Kelly Osbourne found a companion in pregnant Black Eyed Peas star Fergie as the pair took to the red carpet together.

Both ladies looked elegant as they attended the exclusive event, with Kelly shimmering in a gold effect dress, and Fergie looking glowing in a full-length black number.

The Glamorous singer - who certainly looked glamorous - also delivered a speech as part of the evening's events.

She also joined rock legend Elton John on stage - the Rocket Man being a regular attendee of the annual event in Austria - as well as US Olympian Greg Louganis and Life Ball founder Gery Keszler.

Kelly found delight during the evening events, taking to Twitter to reveal: 'Someone just introduced themselves to me and his name was actually Fart!' and adding: 'I love Vienna'

Pop star Adam Lambert was also in Vienna, arriving at the airport earlier in the day.

He looked cool in a pair of shades and kept travel outfit simple, wearing mostly black.

He also took to Twitter in relation to the event, revealing he would play a larger part in the evening, saying 'Thrilled to be a part of Life Ball! The theme is 1001 Nights and I am playing "Ali Baba" singing a song written exclusively for the event!'
