Hotel average room rate hits $288 daily in Naples area in March

Hotel rates are climbing in Collier County, helping drive up visitor spending. In March, the average daily rate increased to $288.30, up nearly 11 percent during the past year. Meanwhile, occupancy only rose 1.3 percent to 93.4 percent.
