And Shakira's hips don't lie as she flaunted her fit figure in a pair of skinny jeans during a mommy and me shopping trip in West Hollywood on Saturday.

The judge for The Voice was joined by her parents at the upmarket Robertson Boulevard children's boutique Bel Bambino, a favourite among new and soon-to-be moms in Hollywood, including Halle Berry, Petra Ecclestone and Kim Kardashian.

The 36-year-old singer looked trim as she paired the trousers in a loose-fitting striped top and open-toed wedges.

The Waka Waka singer opted for a make-up free look and wrapped her blonde hair up in a loose bun, instead focusing all her energy on her new bundle of joy.

While inside Shakira and her parents had a sales rep show them items for her young son, but the group left empty handed.

Not spotted on the shopping excursion was Shakira's boyfriend and FC Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué, who is currently in Spain as his team is set to take on RCD Espanyol on Sunday.

And despite the talented star having bounced back into shape in no time at all, she recently admitted she still wonders whether she will ever re-gain her pre-pregnancy figure.

But rather than stress over her weight, she would rather spend time with her baby son that hit the gym.

Shakira told Us Weekly magazine: 'You wonder if you'll ever get your body back. I'm still a few pounds over.

'But I do Zumba. Even during pregnancy, I did it almost to the end. But now with 'The Voice', I don't have time. When I have a day off I want to be with Milan.'

Admitting motherhood is a 'surreal' experience, Shakira explained she wasn't expecting raising a child to be so challenging.

She added: 'Nobody told me it would be this hard. It takes a lot of energy but I love it. There's a lot of joy and fear.

'Being a mother is surreal. It's a whole new experience to me, and I'm just discovering it second by second. And having him here, it's great, it's a new thing, it's another part of me and my loved one. He's accompanying me so I don't feel alone.'
