Scruffy Matthew Perry reveals his greying hair and MUCH heavier figure as he pumps  gas at his local station

He did a good job at covering up his fuller figure in a recent Friends mini-reunion.

But Matthew Perry let it all hang out on Sunday, showing off his moobs and belly in a grey T-shirt as he made a stop at his local Chevron gas station in Malibu, California.

Appearing as though he literally just rolled out of bed, the 43-year-old actor opted for a scruffy look, clearly not shaving before refuelling his BMW convertible.

Perry recently suffered the disappointment of his series Go On being cancelled by NBC and hasn't got any new work listed publicly.

He certainly looked as though he was kicking back, his grey hair was all a mess and appeared to be in the midst of air drying.

Going with his laid back look, the Fools Rush In star paired his shirt with slouchy black trousers, but stepped up his game with his choice of shoes, laced, leather loafers.

The sun seemed to be blinding his eyes, because he squinted as he was without sunglasses.

Perry recently teamed up with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox to do a Friends spoof to promote Aniston's appearance on The Ellen Show.

'Doing that little bit with Matty and Court yesterday was … we were very nostalgic and miss working together,' Aniston told Ellen DeGeneres about the clip.

'We miss each other and it's a great thing to go back to your family like that. Also, I know that people will love it.'

The 44-year-old actress has previously spoken out about a possible reunion with her Friends cast mates, but argued that it wouldn't be 'normal' in movie form.

In the reunion teaser, the blonde beauty arrivies bright and early to the house of her former co-star Matthew, who played Chandler Bing.

The 43-year-old actor apathetically greets Jennifer and is confused as to why she would be knocking on his door, saying they have barely seen each other since they worked on their hit series.

After mistaking Matthew for David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Jennifer excitedly explains how she's seeking comedic advice for her appearance on Ellen.

Following a bit of bickering back and forth, Perry offers some words of encouragement, telling the fiancee of Justin Theroux how 'beautiful' she is and how 'great' she will be.

Suddenly, Courteney Cox, who played Matthew's on-screen better half Monica Geller on the show, steps out from inside his home.

Speechless, all three stars awkwardly look around, before getting into a quarrel as it is suggested Courteney and Matthew have been having a Friends reunion of their own kind in the form of an affair.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs in the UK on Really (Sky 248, Virgin 267, Freeview 20)

I really hate critical articles like this, they turn us into a judgmental society. Matthew Perry looks like a normal guy who let the middle age spread get the better of him. So what? He is a cool, funny guy who will always be Chandler Bing to me and always makes me laugh when watching Friend re-runs. He is a wealthy man and probably enjoys himself eating out in nice restaurants and taking it easy in the California sunshine. I would if I could! No more articles based on pointing out peoples flaws please DM

Yes, he is too fat, unlike the rest of us, however, were an acting role to come up he really wanted he could afford a battery of personal trainers to get him fit whilst learning his lines...hope he does, too!

Dear DM... you and your journalists really do sink to low depths. Why do you allow spiteful articles like this? Especially about someone who has had weight problems before? I would rather take Matthew looking like this than any of your (one would assume from their nasty articles) stick thin 'journalists'. He's a lovely and funny guy... leave him alone!

He looks too fat. For a sec there I thought it was Captain Lou from the old WWF.

His bigger frame and moobs don't bother me! I think he's great. And I love his grey hair. Leave him alone and quit the snide comments

That six series convertible is on my dream car list. Makes me like Matthew even more...if that's possible. Cool car, very cool guy.

He is such an obviously good guy...extremely likeable and darn good-looking. But he is far too young to be in such bad shape. And he is rich enough to easily afford trainers and chefs if he wants them. Of course, six months from now maybe he will be trim and fit again. Let's hope so.
