Jessie J lives up to the title of her new single Wild as she strips down to her underwear for new video

Jessie J has never been shy, appearing in Lycra catsuits since she first leaped to fame two years ago.

However, the singer takes things a step further in her new video as she strips down to her underwear in the promo for Wild.

The Voice judge, 25, appears in just a black bra, knickers and white high heels as she performs in the simplistic treatment for Wild, the first single from her forthcoming second album.

The four and a half minute video starts with Jessie J walking through a darkened TV Studio, before she takes off her top.

As she steps into the light of the white set, viewers realises she is just dressed in a bra and pants as she starts to sing and dance in an empty studio.

Although in her undergarments for most of the promo, in other scenes, she is seen wearing an animal-print body suit.

Joining her in the video is American hip-hop star Big Sean and London rapper Dizzee Rascal.

The video premiered on Vevo late on Tuesday night, with Jessie J excitedly tweeting about it.

She said: 'So HERE it is! The OFFICIAL video for WILD!

The song, which was released in the UK on Monday, is already making waves and is currently No.5 in the iTunes singles chart.

The track is the first release from Jessie's second album, which is as yet untitled.

She said this week: 'I'm not sleeping but in a good way, I'm excited, I want to know what people think, I want to know where it's charting in different countries.

'It's such a different sound this album and Wild is a very small reflection of what the album sounds like.

'It's exciting for me for people to hear the next single and the single after that because I know what they are now, it's exciting times.'

"I think it is very sad when talented women have to demean themselves by performing in their underwear just to sell whatever it is they are selling." How patronising. Anyway, it isn't demeaning, I've said it before - there is nothing inappropriate or sexual about legs and midriffs. And I also said in the same comment that you're replying to that showing your legs or other parts of your body doesn't make people want to buy the song or enjoy listening to the song. "You say it is because they get hot - well please name some men who perform in their pants to sell records?" Well, I can't think of many popular male performers who sing and dance simultaneously at the same intensity as the likes of Madonna, Beyoncé and Gaga etc, however Bieber + Chris Brown (both idiots) both take their shirts off often when they're dancing on stage. But nonetheless, it wouldn't be seen as sexual if they stripped down to their underwear because apparently men's legs and midriffs aren't inappropriate or sexual.
