Did you think it was a pajama party? Jemima Kirke drapes her figure in negligee gown and sheer robe at charity event

It looked like she was heading to a pajama party.

But as it turned out, Jemima Kirke was merely wearing a long evening gown and floor-length wrap on Thursday that just looked like it was meant for relaxing in at home.

The Girls star was attending the Endgame: The Global Campaign To Defeat AIDS, TB And Malaria charity event held at The McKittrick Hotel in New York.

Sleepwear or formal: Jemima Kirke raised an eyebrow or two when she showed up to the Endgame charity event in New York wearing a get-up that resembled a nightgown and robe

The 28-year-old captured attention as she glided down the red carpet in her satiny black number that featured a plunging neckline and flowed to her heels.

She was wearing a long-sleeved and very loose-fitting wrap made of a sheer ivory material that may have been ripped straight off the designs of a robe maker.

Jemima's saving grace was her crimson-red lipstick and her pointy black heels with gem-encrusted buckles.

Her pretty shoes peeked out shyly from under the fluttering folds of her evening wear.

Even her long golden hair had 'bed head' written all over it as it flowed over her shoulders down to her waist.

Jemima is of course best known for playing Jessa Johansson on the hit HBO series that stars Lena Dunham in the leading role about a group of 20-something girls and their experiences.

No DM, she was at an event fundraiser for a serious cause, there was no need nor reason to flaunt her figure. - a_woll2 , London, 31/5/2013 09:56 >>>>>>>>>>>> There was also no need to wear what definitely looks like a nightie!!!!
