And Jesse Metcalfe's fiance Cara Santana was obviously feeling good about her body as she showed off her toned figure in a skin-tight fitness outfit.

The brunette was spotted arriving at the famed Tracy Anderson Method Studios in Los Angeles on Thursday, and her strong, muscled physique is the perfect evidence that the tough workout pays off.

Wearing a cropped white tank that revealed her six pack abs, tight black capris and black and white trainers, the Reunion actress was clearly ready to work up a sweat in the tough class that has sculpted the bodies of countless celebrities.

A favourite of Hollywood stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie, Madonna and Kim Kardashian, the strict Tracy Anderson Method has become a cult in fitness circuits, and the celebrity trainer recently added a Brentwood location to compliment her Studio City mecca.

With her long dark hair pulled up into a tight bun, and large sunglasses on her naturally pretty make-up free face, Cara looked excited to workout as she arrived smiling at the original Los Angeles location on Ventura Boulevard.

Like any regular exerciser, she came prepared with a large bag of clothes to change into after her sweat session, a bottle of water to stay hydrated, and a hooded top to cover her skimpy sports bra.

The olive-skinned gym bunny got engaged to Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse in January 2012, and a source told Us Magazine at the time that the couple had 'been dating for four to five years and living together for at least three.'

While they have not yet named a date for when they will work down the aisle, Santana won't have to worry about a drastic pre-wedding diet as she doesn't have a pound to spare on her perfect body.

Jesse's fiancee grew up in El Paso, Texas, before moving to Los Angeles in an attempt to become an actress. Since then she has starred in a couple of television movies, as well as scoring small guest roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami.

The 34-year-old actor, who plays Christopher Ewing - the adopted son of Bobby Ewing - in the updated version of Dallas, previously had a high-profile two year romance with Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, which ended in January 2008.

Cara wasn't the only celebrity hitting the gym on Thursday just in time for the summer bikini season, as actress Kimberly Stewart was seen hot-footing it from a workout in Studio City too.

The single mum to 21-month old Delilah - whose father is Traffic star Benicio del Toro - was having a serious-looking phone conversation as she crossed the road.

With blonde unstyled hair and a big bag on her shoulder, Scottish rocker Rod Stewart's 33-year-old daughter also wore black and white Nikes and black cropped pants, but had a faded grey T-shirt covering her midriff.

I tried doing the Tracey Anderson method for awhile via video. It was good but I stopped because I didn't want my body to go all hard, musculey and masculine looking. Cara looks great though.

Very popular event. Always brilliantly covered by the BBC. Another example of license fee money producing the best value entertainment on radio and television. People who don't like it can watch something else on the many channels available. Simple!
