Bradley Cooper is branded 'a diva' and Zach Galifianakis pulls out of press conference as Hangover 3 cast row rumours intensify

The Hangover 3 stars have failed to win fans amongst the Brazilian press this week, with local media claiming the cast are at loggerheads and star Bradley Cooper has been behaving like a 'diva'.

The kerfuffle started on Wednesday after funnyman Zach Galifinakis pulled out of a press conference last minute.

The 43-year-old was scheduled to appear along side the rest of the cast - which includes Ed Helms, Heather Graham, Ken Jeong and Bradley - at Morro da Urca in Rio de Janeiro, a peak near Brazil’s famed Sugarloaf Mountain.

The group was meant to appear at 9am but when reporters arrived they were informed the actor was too afraid of heights to make 220 meter cable car ascent.

The star managed to make it out of the hotel and while laughing and joking with his co-star Ken Jeong and fans as soon as he realised how high up he had to go he headed home.

An insider told the New York Post: 'The only way to get up there was by cable car. Zach was too afraid to ride up.'

A representative Warner Bros. confirmed to The Post it was just too much for the star.

'Zach is afraid of heights, and called into the press conference to let participants know, and made a few jokes,' the representative said.

However, local media claims it was a case of egos clashing not knees knocking.

Glamurama.com reported Zach had been clashing with some of his co-stars.

Glamurama.com said: 'The gossip behind the scenes is that there was a disagreement between the team on Tuesday night at the hotel.'

The outlet also claimed that the stars were three hours late and branded Bradley a 'diva'.

'Bradley Cooper, even [though he was] quite late, was not even a little friendly nor receptive to questions from reporters,' the outlet said.

'When asked about how his bachelor party was when he married Jennifer Esposito, whom he broke up with months later, or how he would want it to be if he marries again, [Bradley] replied: "I never had bachelor.'' That is it.'

The outlet also claimed Bradley ignored fans who had waited for hours to see the star.

It also suggested because of the fight, management stopped photographs being taken as many photographers were suddenly blocked from photographing the promotional event.

However, the Wolf pack may not be splitting up just yet as despite claims of a feud the cast all went out together on Wednesday night.

The Hangover 3 did not fare as well as expected on its opening weekend in the US but unusually it eclipsed its main competition The Fast & The Furious 6 in the United Kingdom.

The third installment of The Hangover is in theaters now.

im sorry but as a person with a genuine fear of heights i cant step onto a balcony,hate elevators,and the mere thought of being in an airplane gives me palpitations.how is he able to fly all over the place?

These "Promotional Tours" that the big studios send the actors on may seem a luxury to some, however the reality is often something different and many people find it extremely stressful. I imagine they are on & off planes to be driven to studios...if lucky they will have an overnight stay in a hotel before hopping on another jet to another destination. Sounds good to some...but give my own space and my own bed any day of the week

Agree they should have stopped at Hangover 1, which was hilarious ( which I did not expect). Hangover 2 was terrible. No new surprises and lacked the friendship/ comraderie of 1. No way I would see 3! Sometimes you just have to know when to stop. Also agree mountains out of molehills made in this article. The media twists the truth and creates its own reality. I would not want to be a star today. Respect was shown for stars in the 30s, 40s and 1950s. Now it is what can we find to tear down and humiliate!

LOL Zach's afraid of heights? Then how did he get out of the United States? Surely by plane. They're probably sick of each-other and the fact that the movie bombed and was terrible doesn't help matters. Zach had to carry that movie. I'd be annoyed if I were asked about a marriage that went sour too but being rude to fans? No excuse.

I'm going to get red arrowed but.. Bradly Cooper is not all that. Look wise and talent wise. Take away the blue eyes and you have a guy looking really average at best and I'm being kind. Couldn't watch Silver Lining Playbook entirely, I was bored to death and I didn't find The Hangover that funny the first time around, so won't watch the 2 and 3. Limitless was OK, but forgettable. So there. He didn't get the Oscar and I doubt he ever will.
