Robin Gibb and The Soldiers in concert

Date of Event:
13 February, 2012

Message to You - The Soldiers were joined  by Robin Gibb at The London Palladium and raised over £2,000 for Coming Home.

The Soldiers were Britain’s first group of serving soldiers to storm the pop charts and are now set to create history once again as the first soldier pop group to headline at The London Palladium on the final night of their third tour.  The show is a non-stop journey of great songs, old and new, featuring some of their best loved tracks including the recent hit ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You' featuring Robin Gibb, taken from their current album 'Message to You'. The boys infuse all their material with their own fresh brand of entertainment vigour and style.

"It is a tremendous honour to have Robin Gibb and The Soldiers support Coming Home at their London Palladium concert. Helping to house our wounded heroes as they come home to begin new lives as civilians is the final challenge, both for them and us. We need to raise a lot of money to provide the specially adapted houses so many of them need, and will probably need, for the rest of their lives. Both Robin and The Soldiers have personal experience of the challenges our wounded face and it is wonderful that they are donating the proceeds of their concert to help them. Coming Home will be all the more better for their generous support." Peter Besgrove CEO Haig Housing Trust
