Sahaq grows Diesel & OG crosses

Posted by sahaq - 17 minutes ago -

Time for a new grow log!

This first post will be boring, as I've only now put some seeds in the soil..

The stars of this diary are

5 x Cali Connection Jamaican OG (fem)
10 x Cannaventure Diesel Fire (reg)
1 x Rokerij Seeds Sour Diesel (fem)

The lonely Rokerij SD is because my Jamaican OG pack contained 5 seeds instead of the 6 mentioned on the pack...

I will probably go crazy with a good male if such appears and chuck pollen on every possible attractive female.

Hardware is the same as in my previous run. To recap:

DR120
Sunlight Supply Blazer reflector
Gavita Digistar 600
Gavita bulb

+ fans, filters, yada yada..

They will be living for starters in these mini starter pots that you can see below, after which they will be planted into 3,5l (~1 gallon) pots. The final selection of ladies, 12 or 9, depending on veg growth speeds and amount of females will live the rest of their lives in 18l (~4,5) gallon pots.

The soil is the same I used last time, local light mix type with 25% perlite in it, and a nice mix of sand and moss, that I will this time amend with dolomite lime.

Nutes used are:

Biocanna Vega
Biocanna Flores
Rhizotonic
Advanced Nutrients Piranha
Advanced Nutrients Tarantula
Advanced Nutrients Nirvana
General Organics Bio Worm

That's about it for now... I'll be updating this as things move forward!

Joker's Grow Lounge

Posted by beachbud - 42 minutes ago -

Hey All.

I'm pretty busy lately. Too busy to keep a thread. There used to be a pretty good thread at PG years a go called Norcal Rastas medication lounge, which was kind of a grow thread, but also a "how do you do that" kind of thread.

I'm hoping this will be a social thread with lots of hijacking.

In December I did a few disastrous experiments that burned all my mother plants. I lost ( and kept losing)Katsu Bubba and a favorite Pre 2 K blueberry. I used compost teas and hygrozyme to save all my plants which took until now.

In the meantime I made a bastard grow of some seeds. Killing Fields fem and Heri x Big White. I had hot soil, so some of that was a disaster. Let's see... hot soil, thrips, gnats, cold temps and a bad combination of ferts= frying most of my plants.

I changed out my soil for Promix with worm castings and perlite. I only used Sannie's tabs and bacto until week 5 when I switched over to Pura Vida A+ B. Started with compost teas at that time as well.

I got some phenos that were done in 8 weeks! and some going all the way to 12.

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Heri x Big White

A med grower I gifted some cuts to a few years ago returned me this nice Pre 2K DJ Short Blueberry mom:

Here are some sativa Killing Fields... green and purple. I had to snap the branches down a bit.

This plant is so outrageous and she is finished at around 8 weeks. She does not smell as fruity as the others and I am giving her a late flush as I did not expect an early finish to them.

This is a KF reveg from my last grow, she did not stretch at all and just flipped back into flower so I made four buds.

I have 6 more clones of her vegging. I'm stumbling toward a perpetual with 8 plants harvested every month. Next up: Pure Kush and more Killing Fields. I've got a nice1988 G13 Hashplant x Butterscotch Hawaiian male that I'm crossing to Pure Kush, Blueberry and Killing Fields under an LED.
2 Pure Kush and a G13 BSH female just got put in with the KF.

I was told that Neville said the G13/Hashplant was really G13 x NL x Hashplant from the PNW US. Either way it seems to add to every thing it's crossed to. I chose a male that I thought was female and was my favorite with great structure and very stinky.

What's going on in your gardens? For those too lazy to want to keep a thread updated with every detail Launch Full Topic

Kronocaine chop day

Posted by greenangel - 59 minutes ago -

Well this morning i chopped my first Kronocaine at day 69 12/12.
Unfortunately i spotted the start of budrot on the top cola so i decided to chop.Ideally i would have left it a few more days.
I reckon i lost about 10-12grams to the rot so not bad at all.

I have really enjoyed growing Kronocaine .I was lucky enough to plant just 2 seeds and get 2 females .
No2 is getting the chop this weekend.

Nice easy plant to trim which is always a bonusPosted Image

Dutch King has his own.

Posted by greenangel - Today, 12:47 PM -

Hi there OG, been pondering on the net today and found an interesting article about the King of Netherlands who has his own strain.
Now I don't know how much of this is true, but interesting nether the less but I found the article very vague to say the least.
It never said much about the genetics, just mostly about his multi million mansion in Porto Cheli (Greece) and that the strain would be named after him " Koning Willem Alexander", anyone herd of this,??.
Anyway according to these resources I've herd/read that to promote the use of good weed every house hold in Nederwietland, will be sent a single seed, for people to grow weed and enough of it to last them a year,??? Wowser's that has to be some yield, and some genetics for only 1 crop, but then again who said one crop, that seed can be grown into a mother and then I get it.But even then that 1 seed will have to be a definite winner to say the least. :dribble:
Don't get me wrong I like the whole idea about it, and I wish most countries had same laws as Nederwietland, but still at the end of the day its still ILLEGAL. :head_hurts_kr:
Also growing weed, or even pocessing in Greece is a NO NO, I've herd of ppl getting up to 6 months in jail for 1 joint, dunno about now, but it all sounds a bit weird to me, bit it is his vacation home were on about so who knows rite!.
Ok you can buy and sell cannabis but its still illegal to grow it ! in Netherlands. That really makes sense in my book because the weed will still have to come from some were,? and that some were will be from underground operations etc :innocent: .
So there's a big contradiction down the line. the Nederwiet PASS was a joke, and now its failed so how long will it take Dutch authorities to allow legal grows for personal use, or even government grows,???
I know this will have a effect on other suppliers but at least its moving in the right direction.
Anyway drifting slightly off topic, I want this wonder seed. B)
