A sedated 45-year-old woman woke to find herself the victim of a terrifying sexual assault at a New York City hospital this weekend.

The woman, whose name is being withheld, feel asleep after being administered a painkiller for her hurt foot when Tyrone Brown, 49, attacked her around 3 p.m. on Friday.

According to the victim's niece, Brown began to rub his penis on the woman's face and as she tried to flee, he started to urinate on her.

Responding to her screams, hospital staff burst into the treatment room and grabbed Brown - who was in the hospital himself for an undisclosed injury.

As he was being subdued, Brown apparently flicked his tongue at his victim as he was being dragged away.

The woman's shocking assault was interrupted by hospital staff as they rushed to her aid

Police at the hospital charged Brown with committing a criminal sex act, a felony, before he was taken to Bellevue Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

'This incident will be fully investigated,' said a hospital spokeswoman to the New York Daily News.

The distraught victim is also frightened that she may have contracted a sexually transmitted disease from Brown and has had tests to check.

'She's just worried,' her niece said. 'She's upset.'

Upset? Upset? I think that would be an understatement. I would sue that hospital from here to the moon. I would be launching more lawsuits at that hospital than you could possibly believe.

All NYC emergency rooms are like this. It's virtually impossible to avoid being harassed by deranged druggies and disturbed homeless people while you're waiting to be seen. As for security, there's usually one disinterested "guard" sat in the corner either watching TV or trying not to fall asleep.
