The Red Wedding is in the book. If this shocked and horrified everyone, then they should quit watching now. The whole POINT of this series is that there are no sacred characters, you simply cannot predict who will survive.

Anyone who read the books, the ice and fire wiki online or any comments about the Red Wedding was prepared for the scene although it was disturbing to witness. It would have been worse had they shown them sewing the direwolfs head on Robb's body but maybe they will next week....

I think this is a misunderstanding, the fans are not shocked by the blood shed it is because almost the entire adult Stark clan are now dead.

'It was quite simply one of the most remarkable scenes I have ever seen. I have never been so shocked or traumatised by a TV show in my life. Finally, a show that evokes powerful genuine emotion. Fantastic and long may it continue. I'm still shaking. Epic.' A grown man 'traumatised and shaking' because of a fictional TV show?. Honestly Clive, get a life. Quickly.

I've read the book and think that they did a good job of portraying the horror at the wedding, can't wait for next week when someone else who deserves it, gets it! - Gloria , Bay City, 03/6/2013 23:11 ---------- Wow thanks Gloria for adding a spoiler as we can pretty much guess who that is! Some people have read the books some haven't, just because you have doesn't mean you are cleverer than anyone else but you seem to want to make a point of telling people you know things that they dont! get over yourself and let people enjoy the series, no one likes a know it all!

''Fans left 'sickened' by bloodshed '' Where we? although I was shocked that Robb and co died, it wasn't because of the gore it was because they are fantastic characters and I haven't read that far into the books yet like a lot of viewers. It was a complete shock and something that not many shows or stories do, showing that the good guys don't always win. And it isnt anywhere near as gory as anything in Spartacus, which I might add is also absolutely fantastic.

This article is BS. You completely misunderstood. We were not upset by any gore or blood but the death of the characters. Most fans knew it was coming, however. So, please correct this false misleading article.
