Jessie J has always marched to the beat of her own drummer.

But at the Glamour Awards, she made an entrance to the iconic eight beats that come at the end of Eastenders.

The 25-year old Price Tag singer seemed to have taken style tips from Albert Square stalwart Pat Butcher, opting to wear head to toe royal blue and enormous earrings.

Her short hair, bleached blonde, only added to her air of being a younger version of the famous character, made famous by actress Pam St. Clement.

As Jessie posed for the cameras she gave a flash of her bright yellow fingernails, and a metallic green clutch bag.

But as she turned to the side to give another view of her interesting fashion choice, the full horror of the outfit became known.

The tunic's ruffled sleeves gaped open at the sides, exposing her flanks, including two small star tattoos on her torso.

Under the strong lights of the Berkeley Square Gardens revealed the fabric to have a strong sheen, hinting it could be made of silk or a polyester-based alternative.

The Voice judge was one of the star guests at the magazine's annual event, and thankfully for her, she was not the only famous face to make a fashion faux pas.

Singer VV Brown also seemed to have taken her outfit inspiration from a TV show, and arrived wearing socks that had bunched around her ankles like Nora Batty in Last Of The Summer Wine.

The singer tried her best to look coquettishly at the camera, her long dark hair pulled in to two plaits that hung by the side of her well made-up face.

Her outfit, a pale gold kimono, was a daring choice, and one that deserved to be paired with something better than a pair of taupe socks and sandals.

Earlier that day, VV told her Twitter fans that she was at Issey Miyaki sorting out her look for that night.

'In Issey Miyake Brook street. Getting ready for the glamour awards,' she tweeted.
