Easy riders! Pink and husband Carey Hart enjoy an unconventional date as they head out on matching motorbikes

They've always been an unconventional couple.

And Pink and her husband Carey Hart enjoyed a somewhat unusual date as they took to the open road on matching motorbikes in Malibu, California, on Thursday.

The couple, who are biking enthusiasts, looked expertly in control of the powerful motors, with Pink‘s being smaller than Carey’s.

As they stopped for gas in Thousand Oaks, the singer, 33, looked happy and excited to be going on the adventurous outing with her 37-year-old husband.

But once back on the road, the star adopted a more serious expression, keeping her eyes and attention on the road.

She certainly looked the part, wearing a black leather biker jacket, boots and biking gloves.

Her white helmet had a distinct vintage feel and contrasted with her husband’s headgear, which had a racier look.

She kept the sunlight out of her eyes with a pair of John Lennon style shades and also kept her helmet’s visor pulled down to keep the wind out of her face.

Her tight jeans ensured that she would stay as firmly seated as possible, while she kept her hands free by wearing a backpack, which had a monochrome tribal print.

Carey chose to wear a more everyday outfit for the trip, sporting a hoodie, loose trousers and trainers.

The pair may have packed a picnic to enjoy in the summer sunshine as both bikes boasted ample storage boxes.

Motorcycling will be a meaningful pastime for the couple, who have been married for seven years.

They got engaged during a motorcross race when Pink is reported to have held up a sign on her bike saying ‘Will you marry me’.

What sort of message is that sending to children?? Flaunting about on a dangerous motorcycle with a smile on your face? My father was a paramedic for 35 years, motorcycles = death machines.
