'My sanctuary': Snooki shows off svelte post-baby body as she poses in her walk-in closet

She has lost more than 40lbs since giving birth to son Lorenzo in August.

And Snooki is clearly enjoying showing off her newly trim figure.

The 25-year-old Jersey Shore star displayed her slender arms and tiny waist as she tweeted a self portrait of herself standing in what appeared to be her walk-in closet on Sunday.

The reality star wore a black-and-white striped skirt and a tasseled black bandeau top as she held up her iPhone in the mirror to take the shot.

She pulled her dark hair in a high bun and added a pop of colour with crimson red lipstick.

Racks of flashy high-heels are visible behind her, as well as a wooden dressing table.

Glamorous: Snooki struck a sultry pose, tweeting: 'My #annexmag cover shoot comes out in 2 days!'

Somewhat surprisingly for the glamorous star, a pair of purple Croc shoes can be seen stuffed under the dresser.

The area appears more lived-in and unkempt compared to other celebrities' often pristine closets.

Snooki has been open about her grueling workout routine in her bid to lose her baby weight.

She told her followers recently: 'While everyone's getting wastey pants for mdw [Memorial Day Weekend], my ass is doing cardio at the gym and LOVING it.'

She added: 'Finally starting to come together after having a baby in there!

Snooki has also been watching her diet and has admitted to allowing herself regular 'cheat' days while eating healthily the rest of the time.

'If I can lose 42 lbs. after giving birth six months [ago], I mean, anybody could do it,' she said in a Dr. Oz interview recently. 'You just need the dedication, and you need to want to have your body back.'

But she wants her fans to know she is not overly restrictive with her diet, tweeting on Saturday:

'Everyone saying I need to eat a burger. Come bring me one. With sweet potato fries. And a banana smoothie. And maybe a cookie.'

Believe it or not: She wanted everyone to know this is all her hair, tweeting, 'No extensions! My hair got long'

It's always awesome to see the leading star of the LOTR and the Hobbit movies tweeting pics of himself, GOOD for you Sam for losing the weight. Looking awesome dude. Frodo must be so proud of his BFF. lol O.o

Indeed. Her 15 minutes were up a long time ago. Who cares about her anymore? She was far more interesting when she was up to her drunken antics.
