Pixie reaches for the thigh: Geldof looks a picture of
elegance and avoids wardrobe malfunction in her revealing split skirt

Pixie Geldof has often gone for the grunge look in the past, but on a night out in London she stepped out looking chic – and revealed plenty of toned leg in a revealing split skirt.
Pixie joined a host of celebrities at the Carrera Ignition Night at St Barnabas House before
moving on to the trendy Groucho Club in London’s Soho.
There were no wardrobe malfunctions as she stepped out of the car in a summery skirt with yellow print pattern slashed to the thigh.

With legs that looked toned and slim, Pixie completed the look with a chic Celine top and black leather jacket, a leopard-skin bag and brightly-coloured phone cover.
Appropriately enough she also sported a pixie-like haircut, shunning the black wig she tried out a few weeks ago.
It was a world away from Pixie’s usual style of ripped jeans and Dr Marten boots. Even the 22-year-old’s hair was different - at the Vogue Festival in London recently she sported a messy crop.

The 22-year-old was joined at the bash by her pal Nick Grimshaw, socialite Tamara Beckwith, Amber Le Bon, Mary Chateris wearing a Julien Macdonald dress and Zara Martin carrying a Kate Spade New York road trip license plate clutch bag.
Pixie also did a spot of DJ-ing along with Le Bon, Grimshaw, Charteris and Chelsea Leyland, while guests were served cashew crust chicken, mini lobster rolls and Disaronno sours, gin and Tia Maria.
Despite Pixie’s party-going reputation she insisted in a recent interview that she has done little to earn her 'wild child' tag.

She told The Guardian newspaper earlier this year: 'When I was 16, I went out a bit, but it was mostly to the pub on my street. It really wasn't all that shocking.
'I mean, I never missed curfew – I was always home by 10. With my dad, it was all about trust. He expected good grades and homework done and curfew met.
It's not the first time this week that pictures of Pixie have appeared - on Wednesday her sister Peaches posted some childhood snaps on social media, including a touching one of all three Geldof sisters. Oldest sister Fifi Trixibelle is rarely seen in the public.
